In a matter of a few minutes Evan he was making his way to where Nina was sat by the bar. He taps her on the shoulder, as she turns to him he offers her a smile. He wanted to make things right from when he so abruptly spoke to her the other day. “Hey Nina. What are we drinking tonight?”

He seemed upset and the last thing she wanted was to make that worse for him. “It was... I’ll admit that, I’m sorry.” Evan says in an attempt to try rectify his mistake, he didn’t want to be an asshole. It wasn’t in his nature, though he could put up a facade. Evan listened as Nina spoke, it was true the point she’d made. “I suppose you’re right, can we start this over? It’s Nina right?” Evan offers her his hand to shake, to attempt the introduction properly.

He couldn’t remember how much time had passed since Evan was last on Big Brother, but it felt like a lifetime since the pair spoke. No bad mood was going to stop him from welcoming his friend back here. ‘Relax, Evan. It’s just me,’ he murmured, taking a seat opposite the other actor. ‘Is everything alright? You don’t look thrilled to be back here.’ Part of Matt wondered if that had something to do with Emma Roberts arrival.

A person he admired and was friends with had approached, Evan felt terrible having snapped at Matt. He was glad the other male comes over toward him to welcome him back. “Matt, it’s good to see you. Fuck, I’m sorry... That was unlike me.” He says with an apologetic look in his eyes. “Honestly, not really... It’s been a hard few weeks for me... With how Emma and I broke up... Just all of it’s been rough on me.” Evan he wasn’t aware Emma was in here but he would know soon enough.

In truth, Dougie hadn’t come here to talk to their newcomer. He hadn’t come here looking to talk to anyone. He was just trying to avoid his unexpected guest, Ellie. Not because he didn’t want to talk to her, but because he needed to sort things out with his wife before focusing on his best friend. Priorities, right? Therefore, when Evan snapped at him, he got a mere look of surprise in return. ‘I didn’t say anything,’ the bassist replied in confusion, glancing over his shoulder to see if someone else was there. Nope, no one. ‘Word of advice, though? Not the best first impression. Kinda pointless coming here if you’ve got no interest in making friends.’

“I have co stars in here who are my friends and a half brother... Also some other friends from before... I didn’t come here to make friends. I came to attempt to forget something, or someone.” Evan admits, he did remember Dougie from last time he was here, the two had been friendly but never real close. “What’s new for you?” Evan says trying to at least make some conversation and distract from what was bothering him.

Zee hadn’t even been intending to speak to Evan. He was just passing through when the other turned and the short-clipped tone in his voice had brows raising in slight irritation. Mornings were never his favourite thing, but it was made worse when people couldn’t be polite. ‘Came to the wrong fuckin’ place then, eh? People around here talk, mate. That’s what happens when we all live together,’ he drawled, leaning up against the bar to order himself an orange juice. ‘Anyway, don’t flatter yourself. I just came here for a drink.’

Evan felt bad just snapping at people, though he did have a lot on his mind. Usually this wouldn’t be his typical manner, he hears Zayn’s words and sighs. “I know they do... They talked before when I was here and they fucking will now.” Evan he had a beer in his hand, he raises the glass to his lips. Then placed it back down on the counter. “Alright, chill. You’re still on the juice then?” Evan just said making conversation, he’d remembered Zayn remaining sober when last here.
