We are the Eventide System!

We are bodily 20 and male. We are a sidesystem, our main system has their own other account.

We are an endogenic system! We are still figuring ourselves out, and are discovering new people. We will put our names in the tags of our posts so that you know who is fronting

We enjoy music, socializing, smoking, and urban exploring. We love to make friends, so hmu!

I love learning about plurality in all forms, so if you feel like info dumping, you can always DM us about your plurality info.

We don't like discourse. If you're anti-endo or anything, I respect your opinion, and I respect you as a person. I'll be nice to you if you're nice to me. But don't start trying to debate endogenic existence with me, that's where I'll stop listening

Okay so I think we DEFINITELY switch while sleeping more often than not. It’s either a dream causes someone to come to front or sleeping just acts as a reset and they come at seemingly random

We used to switch so often at night, it was soo disorienting. We haven't switched overnight in years now

your system literally can look like anything. it can have only introjects, it can have no introjects, it can have only non human members, it can have only members that look exactly like the body, it can have only littles, it can have only ageless members, it can have a full system of members that all have only one type of role, it can have a million members, it can have only two members. there is no set way systems have to look! they can present however your brain deems necessary for you!

hi! we have a question for you! we’re familiar with subsystems as a term, but we still don’t really understand what exactly classifies a sidesystem. i don’t think there’s one correct answer for that, but we wanted to know how you guys define it if you’re comfortable sharing. :)

A side system for us is when there is a second system existing in the same brain, completely unrelated to the first. Like two houses that are connected to each other. Ofc, this is going to be different for lots of people, but that's what it is for us.

I've been fronting for so long 😭 I love it but I hate it. I want a specific member from our main system (we are the side system) to front

It's a little annoying to be an FTM system and have girl alters.

Every time a girl fronts, it's like the dysphoria gets switched. We get dysphoric that we aren't in a woman's body. But then the rest of the system panics, and especially the men.

"Am I not really trans? Do I regret transitioning? Did I make a wrong choice?"

But then the men front and it feels better. They feel like men, and they enjoy having a masculine body. Us girls just fuck shit up I guess

I have so many traumas, but I never actually think about the one that gave me a lot of dissociative issues. I'm not sure if I'm actually endogenic or not

Maybe it's because I'm not a trauma holder, or because I hardly remember it, but my first horrible trauma doesn't effect me as much as the much more recent stuff, or things during my teenage years

I saw a post about locking up alters and it inspired me to make a post.

Why do people lock up their alters? That seems so harmful to me. Wouldn't it be better to talk to them, try to understand, and try to help them be a better person?

Locking alters away is dangerous because alters are a part of yourself. You're essentially bottling up a part of you and shoving it away. That's so harmful and can damage your health. All parts of you are beautiful, even the ones you don't understand, or the ones who cause trouble. Some people just need a little extra help.
