Omg, thank you for letting me know, that was very nice of you cause I wasn't aware at all. I'm looking into it now to find the best place to move my work over. That being said I know I haven't been on here in years but I promise it's still in progress I've just been deciding whether I want to continue it in this format at all + I have been busy with college non-stop but I promise I have been working on it plus an additional IF story.

Sorry that I do not have an update for this month. I am in the process of moving, wrapping up my last few classes for the semester, and dealing with some family stuff. I have been working on it in the meantime, fixing bugs, adding suggestions from the forum and writing the next chapter. I didn’t wanna give complete radio silence for a month since I dropped the demo.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I am still here and active and I am still working on the demo. I promise you I’ll have fixed the issues I have with the demo and update the story before the year ends.

Hey! So I got around to playing the demo just now, and I have to say it's very nice and sets a grim and good tone for the story. It's sad too, more than anything. Hopefully we get to know what happened between Liz and the MC soon!

hi!!! just started reading because i love interactive stories and i’m already stumped on the first question. how does the main character customization work? (at least, im assuming that’s what the names are for.) does it determine gender? ty!!!

Ok, so usually theres a list preselected names for people to just click and go if they don't care/know/want to think of a name for their character. They usually don't determine gender (idk if they ever have i haven't played many games that have had them determine it).

The names are just names gender and sex are usually determined later. Sometimes, even sexuality.

Even While We Sleep is LIVE.

Ok, I’ve finally released the demo for Even While We Sleep on dashingdon. If you have any reports, criticism or reviews feel free to drop it in my inbox!

I plan to edit the first chapter for release on itch.io and will also re-edit some of it on dashingdon in a few weeks as a result. I have to add and edit choices and storylines and just look over to see what I’ve missed.

Chapter 4 will be longer and release in tandem with the itch.io version. I’m just really excited I finally put it out there!
