If you're already bleeding:

Rinse under cold water (warm water will not help stop the bleeding)

Apply pressure with something clean like a tissue, gauze, or cotton pad. Keep applying pressure until the bleeding stops

Disinfect and bandage if needed, but if it's shallow enough, this might not be necessary

To avoid future bleeding:

Never shave dry: there's a much higher likelihood of your skin getting irritated or cut

Get your skin wet, lather up shaving cream or body wash, shave it off, and rinse

Hold your razor at about a 45 degree angle (neither parallel nor perpendicular to your skin)

Go slow and be extra careful around the bendy parts

Sometimes I'll look at her and wonder how. How does she manage to just stand there and grasp people's attention, to get them to look her way? How does she exist in such a perfect placement where everyone adores her? How...when I push myself to the brink of exhaustion...does she manage to have it handed to her so easily as if there was no effort involved? Eyes are constantly on her, mouths always speaking her praise, hearts attached to her soul...it all just seems...too simple.... unfair. How can I be expected to watch someone who lived under the same moon as me be handed such a picture perfect life and not have my heart aching at the want of it? Maybe my mind doesn't hold her intelleligence, maybe my heart doesn't hold her warmth, or my body her beauty, but maybe, just maybe, I wish to one day hold the importance she does. One day I hope to live at the ease of the worlds hold, the simplicity yet rarity of such perfection. I know that day is farther than any star in this universe, but one can only wish.
