With over 45+ contributions, we're so, so, so happy to say that VelCinta Appreciation Week 2025 was a roaring success!

We can't believe that it's over already! Messed up that all good things must come to an end. </3

Thank you to every single person who took the time to contribute. It doesn't matter whether it was once, twice, or throughout the entire week; we're so grateful that our small community came together and celebrated Vel, Cinta, and their love for one another.

i love vel in andor s1 so much because every scene with kleya, she's straight-up failing to pass the cinta kaz test

it's like the bechdel test, but instead of not mentioning a man she's incapable of not mentioning her wife cinta kaz. she really is JUST like me!

kiss scene breakdown no one asked for! i meant to have more of a preamble but you don't actually need that. bullets!

not even touching on the lead-in conversation or we could be here all day (the softness!!!! the palpable nerves around each other!!! omg!!!!!!), just know that.....i'll never be the same again

anyway. important for me to note even if we don't really see it that cinta must be on her knees for this whole thing. like?!?!! i'm incoherent already and this is the second bullet

so much pain and regret on cinta's face for all the time they've lost :((((

lots of stuttering breaths and heavy breathing and i don't have an inhaler but i NEEd one

cinta reaches out for vel's face and NEVER lets go

vel clearly being anxious and waiting and needing cinta to be the first one to make the move -> very much to me would be a mirror of the first time they did this, in accordance with faye's answer to that one question of who'd admit their feelings first (i could make a whole other post about this aspect of it. it may or may not be already written?)

cinta maybe still worried and taking it slow but vel leaning in to give permission even though she's not going to go first

cinta finally going for it and vel's hand immediately going to her face as well

a kiss! a brief break away. another kiss! all soft and careful and devastating to me personally. like how are they able to fit this much yearning into an actual kiss

after another tiny break they're all in on the third one. vel opens her eyes for the tiniest peek to check and then fully pulls cinta in closer to her like she's been starving for years. oh wait, she has!

cinta finally pulling back again but the forehead connection remains and the hand stays on vel's face, she is not letting her get away!!! and vel is still hungry lol but cinta.....cinta smiles through all the heavy feelings and just rubs her thumb along vel's cheek and for one absolutely perfect moment in time, everything is exactly how it should be
