A pop song fades into the walls of my bedroom, bare, a lit cigarette, I wonder as my mind glides to the dusty parts of the past. Days refusing to turn, nights draining the youth. Pages unheard, spilled quietly in a cacophonous shed of bricks and cement. Homing and threading dreams, I dare not put to my lips. One of those threads lead to this uneventful noon, a cigarette pressed lips, bare bosom and a tiny part of me in this cruel, merciful world..................
