Héloïse Salomé Tremblay (b. 9 June 1903 — d. 26 February 1975) was the daughter of Falco Tremblay and his wife Lady Sybelle Joève Lunneaux. She had been the elder sister of Léonide Tremblay, who was three years her junior. Growing up, Héloïse had been an avid writer and storyteller, often gathering the latest gossips that she caught wind of from her relatives. It became clear that if anyone wanted the newest edition of the family drama, Héloïse was the one to go to.
In the early 1920s, Tremblay started writing for Le Cri de la Gargouille under the pseudonym ‘H. Lunneaux’. Alongside her partner Cyrille Charrus, the two would become renowned for their work throughout France. Their collaboration produced a series of influential articles and stories, all of which gained popularity amongst wizarding society, especially during Grindelwald’s uprising.
Due to her attentive listening capabilities and discretion she honed when gathering information on the topics she wrote about, the Ministry hired her as a spy to collect intel on Grindelwald during his uprising. As a pure-blood witch, Héloïse was able to infiltrate his meetings without being recognized as a threat to the dark wizard.
Was Iocaste Taygete Black disowned from the family or did she just become estranged?
Did Orion or Lucretia keep in touch with her?
Iocaste was unfortunately disowned, which was a very hard decision for her parents to make.
Orion lost contact with his sister after she left home, but this was mostly due to Walburga’s influence over him.
Lucretia did, as well, even though she tried to offer Iocaste redemption by sending her little sister an invitation to her wedding.
Melania was the only one who continued to secretly correspond with her daughter.
question: what happened to @jegulustragedy? weren't they a collaborator of yours? I'm just asking because I thought Liriope was their oc.
She’s inactive right now, sadly. But we still talk about stuff on occasion!
Liriope is our oc since I helped in character development, but my friend was the one who came up with the idea of her.
Ophielle Dorea Black (b. 5 January 1952 — d. 28 December 1996) was a pureblood witch and the adoptive daughter of Alphard Black. There was some speculation that she may have been a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, though such rumors were never confirmed.
Alphard Black claimed Ophielle as his biological daughter, though she was never fully accepted by the House of Black, as many relatives believed her to be illegitimate. While Alphard remained unwavering in his insistence that she carried Black blood, the secrecy surrounding her birth and the absence of a publicly acknowledged mother fueled endless speculation among the family and wider pure-blood society.
Ophielle was known for her striking intelligence, reserved demeanor, and unusual presence, often described by others as both elegant and unsettling. From a young age, she displayed exceptional magical ability, particularly in disciplines involving ancient magic, defensive enchantments, and Legilimency. Though outwardly composed and refined, there was an intensity to Ophielle that many found difficult to ignore, as though she possessed a constant awareness of things left unspoken around her.
this is an edited version of an older intro post
wait- is ophielle the adoptive daughter of marius black or granddaughter? cuz in the original post it says that she’s his daughter…
oh yeah... I should've elaborated more. we changed it so that she would be the daughter of Alphard 😅
That misunderstanding is entirely my fault!
An updated post on Ophielle will be made soon!
Hi! Your OCs are so extensive and deep! I know it is best to not associate anything written with JKR and all, but I do want to know about your OC, Liriope. It's really inspiring me to make one of my own!
Hello there! It’s very nice to meet you 🫂 I haven’t had any new interactions in quite some time so this is refreshing 🤗 Thanks for visiting my little corner of Tumblr!
Of course! I would love to share my OC ideas with you. Here’s some info on Liriope Rosier under the cut…
Ophielle Dorea Black (b. 5 January 1942 — d. 28 December 1996) was a pureblood witch and the adoptive daughter of Marius Black. There was some speculation that she a may have been a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, but these rumors were never confirmed.
Faceclaim for Araminta?
Heddy Lamarr
What does the name Tajana mean?
Tajana is a Serbian name that means "mysterious one" or "secret".
will you be doing a family tree for araminta?
yes! very soon. i will probably post it on my sideblog.
Araminta Meliflua Vranič (née Burke) (b. 17 October 1926 – d. 23 July 1993) was the daughter of Theophilus Armand Burke and Hortense Séverine Meliflua. Her paternal grandparents, Belvina Black and Herbert Burke, raised her after the death of her parents, who succumbed to the Black Cat Flu when she was only seven. She was a peculiar child — quietly observant, unnervingly perceptive, and possessed of a curious affinity for things others found unsettling.
In 1937, Burke enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was sorted into Slytherin House. She was in the same year as Tom Riddle, though they had very little interaction, as she quietly disdained his Muggle heritage. During her time at Hogwarts, Araminta grew particularly close to her cousin, Walburga Black, who shared her staunch blood-purist beliefs and sharp ambition, the two forming a formidable bond rooted in pride, tradition, and an unyielding loyalty to their family name.
Araminta became entangled in a romance with Serbian wizard Davorin Vranič, who attended Durmstrang. The two married in 1945, when the witch was nineteen, in a quiet ceremony that reflected both their shared values and their desire to preserve the sanctity of their respective bloodlines. Together, she and her husband had one daughter: Tajana Vranič.
Iocaste Taygete Black (b. 17 February 1932 — d. 24 July 1956) was the youngest child and second-born daughter of Arcturus Black (III) and Melania Macmillan. She had been the younger sister of Lucretia and Orion Black. Through her elder brother, Iocaste would become the paternal aunt of Sirius and Regulus Black.
In the early years of her youth, Iocaste had been a source of exuberance and enthusiasm among her family. It was very rare that you’d ever catch her without a smile on her face. Additionally, it was often said that Iocaste took after her mother in both appearance and personality, which made the girl her father’s favorite child.
Although she warmed the hearts of both her parents, Iocaste would also be their greatest headache. She wasn’t very good at following directions and very rarely obeyed instructions from either her parents or governess. Even from a young age she was quite rebellious. In spite of this, Arcturus and Melania never disciplined her.
Childhood wasn’t easy for Iocaste, no matter her light disposition or House Black’s respectability. She never truly fit into her family, always having been considered quite odd by her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. The only ones who really understood Iocaste were her parents and siblings, though even they couldn’t help feeling a bit embarrassed whenever it became obvious that the young witch didn’t quite fit the mold of a Black.
She was enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1943, but dropped out in her sixth year. It was rumored that Iocaste had gotten herself pregnant after engaging in a romantic affair with one of her Muggleborn classmates. The Black family were quick to erase these whispers from the tabloids and it would later become known that there was no pregnancy.
Iocaste became estranged from House Black by the time she reached the age of twenty-one, after she made the decision to leave her home and live in the Muggle world. She died in 1956 after getting herself into a crash, a couple years before her nephew Sirius was born.
how do you feel about your continuation of engaging with jkr’s universe to create your own storyline and ocs? given everything she’s said, do you still feel comfortable basing your own au off of her world?
people have been backing away from the hp fandom. thats why i am asking this question.
i have also noticed that people are backing away from the hp fandom because of jkr. i dont blame them, honestly. from my perspective, the universe that jkr created is so separate from what fans of the harry potter series have created for themselves. it’s to the point where we can actively still engage with something that we love while also incorporating inclusivity and respect into our own branches of the same world.
anything that i write for myself are my original ideas, not hers. the characters i create and the backgrounds that i make are owned by me and my friends who help in their development. we can easily take them out of the hp fandom and incorporate them into OUR OWN story without them having any association to jkr.
I love the hp series and I think there’s a difference between loving a story and supporting the person who wrote it. I mean, people will have their own opinion at the end of the day, but this fandom really makes me happy and i enjoy being apart of the community. So I’m just gonna say that I don’t plan on leaving it anytime soon.
Thanks for the ask!
Will there be an oc intro for Iocaste? Also does she belong to Kreiousa’s au?
An intro will be on its way shortly!! I can’t wait to post more about her 🎉
I feel like there hasn’t been much activity on this acc lately and I kinda want to bring the riddle era au back to life again 😅
And yes, Iocaste belongs to Kreiousa’s au.
Thanks so much for the ask!
Iocaste Black — Youngest child of Lord Arcturus Black and Lady Melania Macmillan
name for Kreiousa's mother?
I was thinking Deonisia Vignaud (b. 1912 - d. 1943) The name Deonisia means "follower of Dionysus," a reference to the Greek god of wine and festivities.
Vignaud means "vine." I thought the name was fitting since Pollux is usually headcanoned to be an alcoholic.
Deonisia died when Kreiousa was fifteen.
