Ah, so nice of you to check out my super awesome webcomic 𝘼𝙍𝗖𝗢 on the hellsite (affectionate) that is Tumblr. The reason why you should definitely read it here instead of on my meticulously handcrafted html website or on an orange comics publishing platform is that over here, you will be subjected to my insightful and entertaining ✨commentary✨. I’ll just assume everyone is foaming at the mouth to hear my thoughts on my own comic, so I’m gonna be indulgent with the word count 😇 (also recovering from Twitter character limit).
In case you're new to 𝘼𝙍𝗖𝗢, here's a little summary that may help you get started:
The solar system is ruled by CORNELLO - an omnipresent organization dedicated to forwarding human progress.
229 years of relative peace and prosperity are on the line when Angel uncovers a dark tangent to CORNELLO's greatest invention: the CORPUS.
As she sets out to expose the organization's wrongs, the lives of unsuspecting citizens are inadvertently put in peril.
So here we have the cover for Chapter 1 that I made *checks notes* towards the end of February 2022. I didn’t start working on actual pages for the chapter until early April because I was being a self-doubting lazy-ass (I hadn’t even scripted out the chapter yet when I made this cover but I did know the plot points it would be covering). I usually design images like this in my head first, and then put them on (digital) paper when I have decided on an outline. 8 months later I still think it holds up pretty well :)
