What is sad with the Entity is that even if it makes connections with other beings, even if it starts to make some twisted attachment like it did with Benedict, in the end if it comes down between it and the other, its own survival will be first. It only truly deeply cares for itself, for its own survival and lust for power. Everything is secondary, even if in the time it doesn’t seem that way. Look at it’s vessel Invartai. This was the only human that showed it compassion, that cared for it. And what happened? When it only saw its hate for humans being reinforced it ripped Invartai’s soul from his body and used it as a vessel. The only human it cared for and that’s what ended up happening. And there is no remorse for its actions.
