hey guys, i've recently seen the blog @/boldlygoingwherevermygfwantsmeto, and i understand that their posts are upsetting. just PLEASE do not interact negatively (or at all, in that matter) as that is only BOOSTING their account. they've also blatantly said that they do NOT want officals interacting with them, yet we, as a community, keep doing so.

not only are we spurring them on, but we are upsetting both them AND ourselves, as well as making sure that their posts reach EVERY SINGLE corner of the offical verse.

for those of you who don't know this blog, that's alright, do NOT search them up. it doesn't matter if you have "tough skin" or "aren't easily upset"--that's not the point. no matter how confident you are, or how old you are, just STOP interacting.

"fighting back" or "validating our community" is amazing, so thank you for defending us... but it gets to a point where it's completely useless and only makes things worse.

we (not all of us, but most of us) need to learn how to block, ignore, and DNI.

i'm posting this because i recently sent them what i thought would be a harmless ask, and then noticed that "hey, i probably shouldn't have done that." so yes, i did interact with them, and from there did i realize that hundreds of other officals probably want to too.

i am not going to demonize anyone (as well as myself) who's interacted with them whatsoever, just PLEASE stop reblogging, liking, sharing, commenting or asking.

if you cannot do that for yourself, do it for the community. do it for the entirety of tumblr.

tumblr has a wide age range, the offical verse consisting of a younger audience and blogs made by minors. they do NOT need to see this account or any of their posts, as it can be easily upsetting. (this as well as a good percentage of tumblr having mental health disorders that can be prompted by this blog).

so, in summary, do NOT INTERACT WITH THIS BLOG WHATSOEVER.

DO block the account

DO report disturbing material

DO ignore, unfollow, and go by your day

hopefully, the tumblr algorithm will reorient itself and push this blog AWAY from our community, if not delete the blog completely.

I took a look at the blog in question and from what I gathered, basically they told the entire officialverse to kys because a few people told them endogenic systems aren't valid.

They keep referring to the Officialverse and anyone siding with them as their "Enemies" and saying that they're gonna eradicate all of them. People have tried telling them in their reblogs that telling an entire group of people to kill themselves all because like two people insulted them is unhinged, but they're not listening and just doubling down on it. Even when some officials came out in support of Endogenic systems.

Just block them and don't give them any attention. Don't send them asks, don't leave replies, don't reblog their posts trying to argue with them. They're set in their ways and they're not gonna change their mind from people arguing with them.

if you don't want this to happen, it's VERY QUICK to sign this petition which will eventually be sent to parliament! you don't have to be from aotearoa to sign.

no community should have to face the consequences of an AI data centre of this size. the cost is also heinous. this money could go towards so many causes. it would mean the world if you could give this a quick boost by sharing or taking 15 seconds to sign the petition!

well. no. we're 268,000km², making us significantly larger than the entire UK, and we stretch from florida to new york overlaid on a map of the USA, so we're pretty hefty. despite this, we don't really have the right resources to sustain this crazy project, people local to the area wll face an even worse cost of living crisis than they're already dealing with, and our ecosystems are so incredibly delicate that even with all that landmass this could be catastrophic to our native species.
