They both supported them completely, though Scoops was caught off guard by both his friends being into each other. He’s on the ace spectrum, so there’s no jealousy like there was with Becky in the original show.

Whatever good will Becky had with Tobey went out of the window however. For his last year of school he gave Violet dirty looks all year. She was glad he graduated early.

Becky had started to crush on Violet a little after the brief schism in their friendship (March 2020). Her crush on Scoops faded over time, then she fell 10 times harder for Violet.

Violet on the other hand, had been crushing on Becky since the start of fifth grade (August 2018). But she was too aloof to actually process it as a crush and not “super best friend” feelings. Which to be fair, she was like 11. That’s also why she was so heartbroken when she found out Becky was lying to her.

They did officially start dating toward the end of 8th grade. (April 2022)

Oml all I can think of is Victoria setting stuff on fire or whatever tearing up the plains means, and Becky standing in the background, in her wordgirl costume ofc, with her head in her hands like "why tho, what's the reason- we have school victoria please-"

I jsut find it funny how becky has to deal with 3(2 in this au) villians being in her class. She has to fight them then sit next to them in class the next day-

Anyways, what powers does Victoria have exactly? Just her canon ones or did you add stuff, are they different in the au?

Her eye lasers have mutated into straight up telekinesis. Like, the lifting and throwing cars, catching bullets, and flying at subsonic speeds type telekinesis. Honestly, Victoria is a combination of Shadow and Silver the hedgehog in this AU.

The story starts just after their Freshmen year, in July. Tobey skipped four grades so he’s graduated, and he hasn’t caused too much trouble recently (Becky hasn’t personally seen him in months.) The villains are still doing their thing, although recently some more violent villains have entered the city. Victoria spent half of June tearing up the plains trying to learn her “new” powers. But yeah, mostly same old, same old.

Wordgirl: Defining Fate AU

An AU taking place roughly 3-4 years after the end of the show. Filled with extremely overthought headcanons for why things are the way they are in the show (Where people with powers come from, why villains are let out of jail so quickly) to giving characters completely new and genuinely horrific origins (I'm so sorry Victoria), to finally exploring why Becky was left unattended on a military base as a baby.

I'm planning on making this into an actual fanfiction, but I've spent so much time worldbuilding and refining my overly specific timeline that I've written but a single chapter. Of a story that I have multiple seasons worth of ideas for.

I've created entirely new in-universe political parties for this AU. Then mapped out the composition of the House and Senate. I'm freaking crazy-
