Día de Muertos(mes de muertos)as it turns out, for Oki family. My grandmother, long long time ago, passed away on February 12th. My mom passed away on February 2nd. My aunt passed away on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. And now my uncle. He passed away today, on February 2nd. Same day as my mom. RIP! Despite all that goes with any family, I still remember those fun summer days in Atami. Fun fun fun, hot springs, fireworks, yummy food… all that good memories! I miss them all. Thank you family! Football report no.2 : Sounds from yesterday’s experience. Just all these different genres of music coming from everywhere! And then the half time performance of people I don’t understand (anymore 👵🏼), cheerleading ladies that I got dizzy just watching their head with lots of hair spin around in all directions, and the sound of people when they score🏈! Football report no.1: I’ve lived here for a long time but I have never been to a professional football game. I was lucky enough to experience it all! Right from tailgating to the finish! It was such an unique culture that I got to experience; they all got together right from the morning, HUGE party, finish it up before the game(trash gets picked up by the parking lot maintenance!), watch and enjoy the game, and walk right back to the parking lot(now just the cars), and go home! The military precision of setting up the whole thing, grill, table, bench, fold-out chairs, AND TV casting from a computer/phone showing different games of the day, all of that was impeccable!!! It was done in less than 10minutes. CRAZY.
