❤:one of our muses says the first "i love you" to the other (Altering this in counter-challenge, since I didn't write him saying it in my quip! How/when does HE say it? Dun dun duuuuun.)
The judge woke slowly, her eyes blinking heavily. A new yetfamiliar aroma filled her bedroom with a warm earthy delight. She rose to herfeet and poked her head out the door cautiously. It seemed to filling up thewhole of the Eostre. She sniffed the air trying to pin point its source.
Her assumption that it was coming from the kitchen was allbut confirmed but the muffled voices coming from down the hallway. Beforeslipping through the door to investigate she retrieved a magpistol from itsholster set on the wall.
Quietly she crept down the hall, knowing the spellslinger’svoice all too well and tightened her grip on her weapon. When she peaked aroundthe corner her brow hitched up at the sight. Before her stood what looked likea red headed mummy. His head, torso and arms were well wrapped in bandages andgauze.
“What do you mean how did I get like this? You’re the onewho suggested I get it!”
He appeared to be talking to himself before the cracklingresponse came. “I didn’t know it was near a girrok den. Besides you finallyfound those rare beans you’ve been searching for. So I think you still owe me” Thevoice coyly responded.
The judge leaned over a bit more finally recognizing who wason the other end. On the screen sat the all too familiar pinkness that causedher all too many headaches. Her shoulders relaxed and slipped into the kitchenthe impact of the smell she had been hunting finally reaching its apex.
“So! Why did you want this so much? Are you gonna tell hersomething important?” The aurin chirped grinning from ear to ear. Gerick missedthe subtle switch of her eyes towards the judge.
“M-Maybe.” He was fixated on stirring a couple drinks infrom of him.
“Oh oh! Tell her what?”
“I-I’m not gonna tell you!”
“Pleeeease!” Evion gave her best puppy eyes possible.
Gerick brow twitched in annoyance picking up the two mugs. “Fine.I’m gonna tell her ‘I love-‘” The slinger turned around not expecting the judgeto be standing right behind him. Her eyes stared up to him wanting to hear therest. “…you.”
His face turned red before contorting in pain as Silaswrapped her arms around his waist squeezing him tightly.
Another surge of pain arced through his body as her head burieditself in his chest hiding her own reaction. “I know.”
