The music i listen to? In english. The tv shows i watch? In english. The books i read? In english. The games i play? In english. The post i'm making? In english. The jokes we make with my friends? In english.

The language of my family, my neighbours and the people of my country? Spanish

Imagine the amount of things we'd miss out if we couldn't speak english. The amount of media that would not be available to us. And the implications this has in a global sense, how this affect the kind of jobs we have access to. This is the reason we are forced to learn to speak english in a way we are not forced to learn any other language.
