Last night, with Ron Merkel QC. Generous donors to Anthony Murphy’s legal case against the East West toll road receive a beautiful artwork by Bill Hay, a #tunnelpicket-er whose work is in the NGV and has been shortlisted for the Archibald a few times. Ellen Sandell’s copy is above, my copy (number 11 of 72) is being framed. I’m very excited to have it hanging in my home for the rest of my life, to remember my tiny role in this historic campaign.
