Alec moved easily when Jace guided, even while still asleep. No control over the partiular extremity that seemed to have stolen his parabata’s attention that morning, and even just the subtle pressure from body against body only proved to make it a more prominent issue. The soft glide of hands against skinw as what really pulled Alec from his slumber, a soft groan bulding in the back of his throat. He idn’t need to open his eyes to reach a hand up, curl it slowly against the nape of Jace’s neck for a point of contact and finally letting his eyes ficker open with a soft grin. “It’s still unfair of you to look this good when you’ve ust woken up.” There was a hint of gravel to his tone, still mostly claimed by sleep, but he half expected Jace to like it. A little deeper than his normal tone if nothing else.

He smirked, as usual, that part of him would never change. No matter time passing. Reacting to the compliment with a  smug face as he leaned down to capture Alec’s lower lip first in a kiss and his upper one after, hips still rocking mirroring his action to cup the back of Alec’s neck for support. Nudging his nose, “said the man under my body.” Jace countered, smiling before he switched enough to reach for the drawers and grab a bottle of lube. Hand behind his neck was guided down to his hip, so to lean back up without having him feeling his arm heavy, and squeezed some of the lube content against the other’s morning wood, stroking Alec’s cock slowly. “That grasp  on your voice is too unfair,” not that Jace’s was not present either, his mouth dry enough.

Waking up pretty rested, Jace moved. That night, he had been the bigger spoon in their sleep, so his arm was half asleep,and the other brushing onto the muscled  figure of his man. He groaned in a low subtle voice as he noticed the early morning reaction on the other, and tried to slid off as slow as possible so to not wake him up yet. Sheets slightly side, he tried to guide him on his back with subtle pressure. He knew how to manage his parabatai’s body better than no one. So of course, once Alec was laying on his back, Jace moved to straddle his hip, rubbing his lower body against the other’s erection, barely weighting against his chest. Softly caressing through it up to his chest, trying to bring Alec awake now, with a good view.

That’s why that break taken when your mother and the others vanquished the triads happened. Becaues the balance was put aside and hey needed to regroup.” He shrugged, “as for why? Because if we don’t, who is going to? The shadowhunters exist because there was no one fighting demons in the tenth century. Witches weren’t strong enough in large numbers and cambions bothered not protecting people. Now, we all coexist. And whether my stupid kind doesn’t like the competition or not, we all have to fight. For those that have no powers and no way of protecting themselves. Whether they’re truly innocent or not. This fighting may just have an origin in the nature of this universe, but it’s a fighting we ... should only quit knowing that there are others to do so.”
