BEHERIT 1990
2010. Ominous Doctrines Of The Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm
is the fifth album by band Inquisition, The album was recorded in two periods: March 11 to 14, 2010 and April 23 to 25, 2010. In addition (to the band), traditional Satanism includes newly cosmic and metaphysical themes.
It should also be noted that the band hasn’t used a bass guitar or a session bass player after their first album, “Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult”. Dagon has explained that he and Incubus “had to many problems finding a Bass player years ago, if he didn’t have a drug problem he lacked ideology that is so needed in Inquisition”. He said that he plays his guitar in such a way that the bass isn’t necessary. The band always plays on albums and live as a 2-piece which is fairly uncommon for a black metal bands.
Inquisition is one of the bigger names in the black metal scene, revered by black metal fans the world over; and rightly so. this is a great album. This is some fucking primitive, awesome, old-sounding black metal that should have been on many more “best of” .
