“I hate all you kids. That’s all I wanted to say.”
heroicmemorias replied to your post “So how does one beat this big, bad meanie of a hero? It’s a lot...”
(Or somehow mess with his quirk directly - sorry for replying)
Nah, you’re good! But yeah, that too. Disabling Tenma’s quirk for any amount of time is the most surefire way of stopping him. It’s been around since birth so he’s never had to actually be coordinated without it. He’d be an absolute mess without it.
So how does one beat this big, bad meanie of a hero? It’s a lot simpler than what his quirk would let on. All that’s boosted is his coordination (along with a very minor boost to his spacial awareness), so the key to beating him is to merely.. well, make it so he can’t out-coordinate you. Sheer brute force, hampering his movements, etc. Wide open spaces are definitely a very poor place to fight him in, as it gives him plenty of space to calculate every move. Constantly keep the pressure on him and simply outpace him.
when you’re working on a drabble of Tenma’s first big break but he’s still being a goof in costume. No you’re supposed to be scary stop now I have to rewrite this, Brain why.
heroicmemorias:
“H-Hold on!” She was laughing too hard. It took her several moments to actually be able to breath again properly feeling her headache worsen.
“Does the name Memory Dealer tell you something? My quirk is the Biological Electric Memory. I can enhance my own memory or mess up that of my opponents. I actually just wanted to have you forget how to use your quirk but I never thought it would turn out like this. Don’t worry, it’ll pass in a minute or so.”
“I regret existence..” he mumbled, tossing his mask aside as he struggled to get to anything with any vague semblance of a standing position. Once he did, then came the trouble of actually not falling flat on his face then. Of course, this went about as well as him initially trying to move went.
exemperor:
“Kids, pay attention to class.” “Emperor-Sensei is flopping around like a fish.” “Fuck class let me see.”
Local intimidating demon hero reduced to newborn deer
More at 10
heroicmemorias:
“…..Huh?” She expected him to be a bit uncoordinated… She expected him to maybe not be as agile as usual. Hell she excpected him to be a bit slower all together. Not that he went and-… flopped on the ground.
Did-… Did I overdo it? No the pain isn’t that bad, so I can’t have manipulated that mu-… oh god-
There she is on the ground sputtering with laughter as she just hammers her fist into the floor. It was mean but with how intimidating he looked and then behaved like a newborn deer it was just too much NOT to laugh.
“Gods, I feel like I just guzzled down a bottle of whiskey, what the heck did you do?” he was doing his best to stand back up, ending with him scrambling helplessly in place several times over before collapsing said several times over. This wasn’t getting him anywhere.
“I’m unstoppable!” quirk stops working for two seconds
heroicmemorias:
“You have a song and dance?” Now that almost killed the suspense. Trying not to laugh she cleared her throat, keeping her distance, before taking a deep breath soft electric jolts running through her legs. If she super speed now and got close she could try to catch him off guard. Let’s go!
Eye suddenly gleaming a strong green she sped forward to come close to him, locking eyes with his as she felt her qurik working. Even if just for a minute or two she had to disrupt his memory of how to use his quirk, then she’d have the adventage!
“I.. no I meant.. nevermind..” he just exhaled, shaking his head as he focused on how to easily take the other down. A quick flip and leg sweep perhaps? Yes, that’d do it quickly. He didn’t even notice his quirk was disrupted at first, rushing for the other and going to leap over them . . .
“..I am on the ground.” It was a rather blunt statement. It was also stated directly into the dirt as he’d landed face first into it.
heroicmemorias:
“W-Wait! Right now?!” Not that she needed any preparation, and she didn’t have any more classes today-… But it was a bit of a surprise to her. Still she jumped back and went into stance. She definitely should’ve drank more water in case a headache settled in.
I just gotta get close enough to have him look into my eyes, then I’ll mess up his memories of how to use his quirk.
“’Ey, just be happy I don’t go into the whole Ex-Emperor song and dance.” He shrugged his shoulders, staring at his own feet for a moment as he began to leisurely begin for the other. “Though..” there was a pause as he looked upward to her.
“You wouldn’t be able to keep up if I tried.”
heroicmemorias:
“Trust me. You’re fine.” She said. His behaviour told her everything. Sure her intel on him was limited but knowing a bit about his quirk she knew well that she could have quite the advantage in battle.
“Besides, they will treat me differently for that exam due to my circumstances so all the training I can get would be useful.”
“Well, if you’re sure. Don’t say I didn’t give you any warning though..” he shrugged, fitting his mask back on now at the knowledge that he’d be fighting in the near future. He knew the other was a past villain, but beyond that he was in the dark on what she could do.
Lina: ... I was a Villain
Tenma: Past tense, cool
heroicmemorias:
“That-… actually sounds like pretty good training. We could collaborate sometime soon. Not using your quirk during Villain restraints can be pretty useful in my course. Oh and-” She looked away for a moment, scratching her cheek. This was a bit emberassing.
“Would you… allow me to train with you for my Hero liscense exam?”
“Eh, I’m not sure I’d be the best pick as training. I’m a little hard to pin down..” Tenma scratched the back of his head again, unsure of how to respond. He wasn’t aware of the other’s quirk, though most were already at a disadvantage unless their speed was boosted or something supernatural was the case.
heroicmemorias:
“Well it doesn’t really help that I used to be a Villain. I still feel that half the schools students still hate me. I mean, they’re right, I was a pretty bad Villain back then…. I wasn’t the Hero Killer Stain, sure but I did some horrible stuff.” Suddenly her whole demanor changed and seh seemed to look into nothing with eyes glowing with conviction
“I’m going to take this chance. I won’t fail.”
That was quite the look on her face. He had to look behind him just to confirm that some sort of camera crew hadn’t managed to sneak onto campus. “Ah, I’m sure they hate me more. I think my sudden ‘villain restraint’ drills are rather grilling when they aren’t allowed to use their quirk and I have dodgeballs..”
heroicmemorias:
“Pfft. You gotta let me in on the fun once I am a real Pro Hero, okay?” She chudkled. “Well I’m basically just going all Hey kids don’t be a dick to the people ya gotta catch some of em have history on Class 1 A, so-” she shrugged again. “Still… It’s kinda nice to feel responsible on how the next generation of Heros might turn out.”
“Oh god I’m responsible of how the next generation of Heros comes out.”
“I teach them to throw balls.” he jested, chuckling now as he took off his mask. “But yeah, it’s kind of a scary thing, eh? Once you realize all these impressionable kids are watching your every move-- heck, watching all the moves you’ve probably already made. I sometimes still get asked about stuff I’ve done a couple years back.”
“Don’t worry, the overwhelming sense of dread goes away-- well, not really. It’s like a roommate that doesn’t pay rent and breaks all your stuff.”
Instantly became exhausted just as I try to be active. Seems about right. Crap.
