Found Again for mygalaxyeyes.

This is for the story called On Again, Off Again. Or rather it's just my take on how things eventually develop.

I’m not going to spoil the story, nor am I going to claim that I know better than the author what should or shouldn’t happen after the end of the story. This is simply my personal vision of them reuniting after Tomas’ memory loss. It doesn't happen right away.

One day, Tomas finds a bouquet of flowers in his room. Somehow, he knows what red roses and white lilies mean. Somehow, he knows that he should immediately find a large vase. He knows that he should cut the ends of the stems at an angle. He knows that he should remove the lower leaves. He knows that he should add some sugar and a spoon of lemon juice into the water and that the water should be cool, but not too cold…

And, most importantly, he knows who the bouquet is from. He doesn’t need to remember (he doesn’t remember). He simply knows that Tundra is the one. Tomas has been in love with him for a while. What he doesn’t know is that this isn’t the first time he’s fallen in love with Kuai Liang.

I don’t pay this much attention to backgrounds very often, but it feels really important here (also, I actually enjoy drawing flowers and various objects). Kuai Liang is still Tundra here, so there’s no scar.

It took me a long time to finish, because I haven’t had much free time lately, yet I enjoyed every moment that I spent drawing it.

I accept only one reason why Kuai Liang is not a cryomancer in the new timeline, but the exact opposite force of nature: it’s all to keep Tomas warm and happy, especially since Tomas is a regular human in said timeline.

Also, attentive viewers get not one, but two Kuai Liang/Tomas in this. :) But I'm adding this, just in case (apologies for the quality):

Please, correct me if I’m wrong, and I apologise if I am, but I think the decorative pattern of clouds in the background is Chinese. I’ve seen it before and decided to try to draw it (not sure how accurate it is) to make things look a bit livelier. It’s my headcanon that Kuai Liang, after moving to Japan, has plenty of things in his own living space that remind him of his homeland.

I Love You In Any Form

These are, again, for @exesynobolo, who sometimes portrays Kuai Liang as a brown bear, which I love. And the more I thought about it, the more I became convinced that this is what his animality in the latest timeline should’ve been. His original animality was a polar bear, so why couldn’t they simply make it a different type of bear this time, as a nod to his original version? I’m tired of seeing NRS erasing Kuai Liang’s long-established attributes and robbing Hanzo of his... No, I’m not going to start ranting, because I want to improve people’s mood with this art. :)

So, in case you’re wondering what this scene is all about:

Kuai Liang and Tomas spend a day in a forest, where Kuai Liang works on improving his animality for hours. Meanwhile, Tomas decides to tease him by gathering some wild strawberries, because bears love berries. Kuai Liang appreciates the joke and the offering, but turns back into his human forms and says: “I’d rather eat you instead.” So, the couple ends up… doing things that couples do.
