About me:

I'm Endri (pronounced "N-dree" (think of it as the letter N and then a weird bird call)), and it's wondeful to meet you! I'm just an author who likes Ahab and doodling. Any pronouns are fine, though you'll notice I use she/her for myself a lot (but you can call me whatever <3), and you'll also notice I'm not specific with my age.

Why? Well, because I like to try and maintain a bit of privacy on the internet. I understand if you're hesitant of me because of that, but it's my genuine reason. Just know I am in fact, at least in the USA (where I live), I am in fact a legal adult. I just act immature because I'm a young adult and absolutely thrilled to have a spot on the internet I can be insane and not be mocked and instead told "hell yeah girl, I'm the same way!!" Makes me happy :3

My posting schedule is random at best because ADHD is tedious and my life gets busy often. At the very least, I'll usually spit out a few pieces a month and ramble on and on about the most random things all the time.

I don't tolerate hate, but criticism is welcome!! Do remember, if you write it, I'm just a stranger online who posts silly fics now and again. If you don't like my content, you don't have to read.

My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.

But have you considered the fact that the Yin Branch are tigers, thus cats

It's less like Rewind owns their leash and more like the cats have adopted Rewind, like it is with normal cats(just more dialed up)

Cheetahs are closer to just being "big cats". Tigers are apex predators and if some random fucker got to be in control of a bunch of people who were essentially humanoid tigers, that one person would be very powerful.

Worry not, Rewind acquires more cats, but none are from the Yin Branch.

So I just remembered that a Cat based Heishou pack DOES exist

The issue is that their not house cats but rather Tigers

I feel like if Rewind held a leash to any of the Branches it'd be the leash to the Yin Branch

Like the Xianren would give Rewind ANY power.

They don't want them to ever have a chance to fight back. It's part of the reason they seem to upset when they disappear later on.

Thinking about rewind playing games with little huan, daiyu, and baby hong lu

Rewind is teaching them about warrior cats so they have warrior cats roleplays and Rewind cries in pride at educating the next generation (they had to recount the Warriors books from memory).

Xiren is side-eyeing Rewind for this but doesn't stop them. No one else dares to interfere with the Xianren's favorite plaything.

Do you think the elders would fund a Heishou branch based off of Rewind?

Obviously they can't just make weird boluses using rewinds blood(it's enkephlin, I don't really know if that stuff is exactly compatible to blood types) so it'd probably be a weird fucked up hybrid of animals that Vaguely resemble Rewind, edited and experimented with in order to look ever closer to the Real Deal(probably also very rare honestly, unwanted mutations would undoubtedly be common)

I'm a little stuck on what to do with Rewind in Canto 8, but they'd absolutely be an "interesting weird thing the elders want to watch suffer". Be it suffering via caring for children or "oh shit they just waterboarded Rewind for shits ane giggles"

Rewind gets to sit there and look pretty one day, is threatened to be converted into tree the next, and is fucking waterboarded the third as baby Hong Lu watches.

Yeah that demon comes out of Canto 8 more traumatized than usual and is yeeted straight into Canto 9 without warning.

Wait now that I'm thinking about it.

One of my moots has a fixation on Hong Lu, one has a fixation on Jia Huan, and one mostly writes for Lordlu and Jia Qiu. Oh also they all write a LOT of stuff for Lordlu in general, so--

Worry not, I have plans to have Rewind fistfight someone at least once at somepoint.

And dude, I kid you not, I've sketched up Rewind plushes. They look so stupid and I need to get the materials to make myself it but I a) still suck at sewing (yet I do practice), b) ive never embroided in my life (time to learn and/or default to buttons) and c) it will be hideous and beautiful all at once.
