what are some of the best things about being home? even the small details.

being able to hug my best friend again, curling up in my own bed, and the way the mattress always seems to slip off no matter what i do, waking up to my dog barging into my room n just whining at me until i pay attention to her, not being constantly on edge that there is going to be yelling (my host fam fought all the fuckin time), being able to not wear makeup around the house, the crows who used to bring me things still paying attention to me, being able to do my makeup at my desk with all of the little knick knacks that ive saved over the past two years or so, (((((weed being only 10 for a gram))))), having the food i want and not having to stress about my eating patterns bc my family understands that i have terrible ones, having all my makeup back??? 

but all of that bein said i miss everyone back in AUS sosososo much, and also I’ve started saying “back home” when referring to things in Sydney and it’s making me sAD
