Ill Advised Visitation
【♛★♛】➡ ❞Ah, is it truly time for me to rest?" The soft translucent glow pierced her horn as her sister's appearance next to her allowed for a slight help in lowering the moon. The obvious wear to her eyes from a deeper shade despite the smile to her lips ... safe-guarding the night and walking within the dreams of their people helped her discover so many things that were foreign and new.
【♛★♛】➡ It was a way to re-discover a world, and the old mare was more than thankful for the chance.
【♛★♛】➡ Still, despite the obvious tiredness that ghosted upon her face, the princess of the night walked forward, hooves clabbering against cobble walk-ways as she went towards the exit. It was more than enough time for her to retire, but retire quite so early would be a waste. Surely she could spare a few hours of her already dwindling consciousness elsewhere rather than in the council of her castle.
【♛★♛】➡ Indeed. That would be the best course of action. Perhaps she should visit her old home in the woods beyond Ponyville, there were so many secrets she used to revel in, so many pranks she used to pull upon her sister and likewise her sister back at her. It was all in good fun and they both enjoyed each-other's company then, even if it had fallen short...
【♛★♛】➡ Her eyes were dragging closed as wings pressed down hard, wind under her wings letting the upward drafts carry her onward, towards the clouds, wind wipping strands of blue hair beyond her shoulders, twisting, legs curling inward, wings wrapping around her body for a split second, feathers clinging to moisture in the clouds she passed through.
【♛★♛】➡ Dipping below, she scoured the dank forest now growing closer to the edge of her vision and plummeted. The forest in itself was something she could look through and get through with little difficulty or worry. Dangerous creatures displaced from mind as she landed smartly, head tipping upward, soft translucent light allowing her the pleasure of sight in the earliest hours of the morning and on through the forest she went.
【♛★♛】➡ Conserving her magic, she used the smallest of amounts to make it easier to get within the castle walls, able to dismiss her magic with a small beating of an eyelash, clear aqua eyes looking upward to the sun, risen over the tree tops for a moment, a feeling of nostalgia rushing through her throat and almost making her choke upon her tongue. Memories, painful memories but warm as well fuddled her thoughts and made her turn away from the rising warmth of her sister's light before walking onward.
【♛★♛】➡ Towards the library, through the books, not bothering to pick up any before she reached a side-room from the corridors.
【♛★♛】➡ Inside rested a bed, full of cobwebs, outfits, hair-ties, all of which were old, so very, very old. A reminder to the mare of her age as a hoof out lifted, magic entwining about the object before bringing it closer to her. It was a small game piece, circular, something she remembered quite clearly cheering over when her sister had presented such an object to her.
【♛★♛】➡ A smile touched the mares lips as her consciousness faded further and further from her control.
【♛★♛】➡ Funny how the mare in the moon could not control her sleep, yes? Her head bobbed lightly, legs unsteady, wings too weak from the flight here to make another trip quite yet. Instead, the princess lowered herself upon her haunches, head tipping to the side, curling up comfortably.
【♛★♛】➡ The circular toy, a marble rested between her hooves to keep from rolling away. Eyes closing as breathing became deeper, softer, the gentle and almost fragile form of the younger sister curled and nuzzling in her own fur comfortably to sleep ...
