An important notice: Leaving the Community.

A lot can change in a year. Over these days I’m noticing that I don’t like rp-ing as much as I used to. I don’t think I’ve really succeeded in completing many threads, either, and my style just doesn’t suit rping. So therefore I’m leaving the rp community.

My current threads will be solved via DM discussion, though if you want to still continue them you’re welcome to continue them in Discord DMs. Current people I have threads with, feel free to message me.

I still want to keep in contact with people though! My Discord is Clover the Grand#7666. Fandom blog and twitter’s @cloverthegrand.

/it's been a g e s since I've rp'ed Hetalia but *cracks knuckles* 

 - no. The body regrows from the head. Speaking of which...

 - yep, but only after a couple of years (which makes me think of a head with a baby body. Shudders). Commonly people just find the body and reattach the head to it 

- I had that happen once but only as a gag. Hmm, perhaps, if the country's health is strong enough. Otherwise the body’s just a limp hunk of flesh

- If the country’s health is poor enough sometimes the limbs get gangreous and have to be amputated. That’s what happened to André. All his limbs were amputated. However he did go through an experimental limbs transplant surgery, and while his arms took his shins didn’t. Therefore his legs were just left to regrow by themselves

Nick cocked his head aside. The husky then leapt away and into the bushes. Michael commended the direction, he had went, to memory. She then turned around to check on Gabriel. The Shiba Inu gave a low sigh. Her tail and ears dropped. Leave it to Gabriel to draw unnecessary attention to himself! Her older brother tended to be more in Heaven then in any other location. He had perfected the bureaucratic system, making it efficient and run very, very smoothly.

Problem was: When it came to being on Earth, Gabriel knew jackshit! The last time he had been on the planet, had been several thousand years ago. By now Earth had changed a lot. Or rather human society had changed a lot. Michael - for whom it had almost become a business being on Earth thanks to Nick - realised that Gabriel had to be rescued from many pissed off humans.

Thus the Shiba Inu grabbed Gabriel by his shirt and after some pulling, managed to get him away from the angry crowd. Michael hissed: “Gabriel, you cannot just go around picking up children! You’re a stranger to them. For all they know, you tried to kidnap their son. Look, Nick got away. But I memorised the road, he took. For all we know, he just wanted to entertain himself. I know, this sounds weird, but I have seen him around kids before. Most of the time, nothing bad happens to them.”

No, Gabriel was not used to Earth and humans. His forte was guiding angels in a bureaucratic environment, not dealing with quarrels. So that event had been very... embarrassing and torturous. Thankfully Michael managed to drag him out so Gabriel erased the injuries the humans made and wiped his face down. 

Gabriel huffed and shook his head. “Humans are always so on edge.” At news that Nick got away, Gabriel made an exasperated face. “Really? That sly prick!”

Michael’s comment about Nick not harming children did puzzle him, but then again she was his twin and knew him better than anyone else in Heaven. “Doesn’t usually harm kids? Okay. But I'm still gonna keep an eye on him.”

“Right.” He made a clap. “Where is he now? Lead the way.”

Hiatus

just a notice

So it’s been 4 months since I’ve graduated high school and I haven’t made anything significant at all. I try; I try to do what should be my current priorities like sorting out taxes bureaucracy and preparing for uni and find a job and finish that violin test I’ve been studying for 2 years, but since I can’t do those my depression’s been hitting me in full force. 

Part of why is that the little energy I have is used replying to threads. I really like rping but I’m a perfectionist so I usually spend up to 4 or 5 hours working on a reply. 4 or 5 hours, for a single thread. And the energy and time used up is insane. So afterwards the day is done, I have a false sense that I accomplished something and I call it a day. And then meanwhile irl I’ve done practically nothing and my depressive episode worsens, but I reply to threads first because that’s the easy stuff so then instead on working on those things I desperately need to do I reply to threads, then that’s another day of procrastination and I feel even more shit. 

When can I return? I don’t know. I’m just tumbling into a full depressive pit now, and rping is just gonna make it worse. I’m gonna post all my drafts for current threads, but I’m gonna log out after that. Will reply to messages, but I won’t be replying to threads for a long time.

Gabriel was very fit for an angel. Sure, Michael did not share his enthusiasm for jogging - she normally stuck to marathons and gymnastic exercises as well as fencing to steel her body -, but she wouldn’t deny its effectiveness. Gabriel could easily kepe in toe with her, despite Michael now having shorter legs. But then Shiba Inus had been bred as a hunting dogs, which meant that despite that they could be rather fast.

They found Nick near an apple tree by the big pond in St. James Park, which allowed you to observe the ducks. He was sitting in the midsth of a group of human children and allowed them to pet him from all sides. One even tried to hug him. Nick let all this happen to him. On occasions, he wagged with his tail.

Michael stopped and wheezed to catch her breath from her sprint. She cocked her head aside. Michael said: “This all looks rather harmless, but what do we do now? Nick does not seem to be doing anything evil. Though that could be a trick.”

Gabriel, too distracted by the fact that Nick was near children, did not heed Michael’s words. He jogged forward and quickly picked up the kid nearest to Nick by the waist.

The kid started kicking and wailing his lungs out. He tried to grip harder to compensate but that seemed to worsen the kicking and screaming. Gabriel cringed— Jesus was never this vocal-

“YOU SICK FUCK, LET MY SON GO!” The father then punched Gabriel in the jaw as hard as he could. Of course, he was fine, until three more parents joined. Then he fell onto the ground and the childrens’ parents proceeded to beat and pepper spray the shit out of him.

Between the parents’ legs Gabriel saw Nick, in husky form, now ignored thanks to the commotion. He pointed towards him. “MICHAEL! Don’t let him get away- OW FUCK!” Gabriel cried as he was kicked in the ribs

Gabriel’s determination was welcomed, but also kind of hilarious. “Mother in Heaven, where was that motivation, when we had to track down angel corpses?”, Michael asked. The Shiba Inu held still as Gabriel fastened the belt around her back and stomach. Somehow Philomena seemed to have recognised the predictment of her owner’s situation and adapted in size and weight accordingly.

Michael looked up at Gabriel. She said: “I should manage it.” Closing her eyes as to not have anything distracting her, Michael inhaled the air. Scents flooded her nostrils and painted images into her brain. Gabriel’s was the strongest, given that he stood next to her. However there was another trail. Faint, but distinct. It smelled of rott, overripe apples, carcasses in the sun and bonfires.

Michael opened her eyes again. “I’ve got him”, the Archangel said. The Shiba Inu sprinted into the streets. “Come on!”

An uncomfortable noise came out of Gabriel. “You know. I do my thing better than when I do yours...

“Oh shit,” he muttered when Michael managed to pick up Nick’s scent. And then Michael sprinted off. “Hey-! wait for me, Michael!” And so an Archangel in joggers jogged after a sword-carrying shiba inu across St James Park.

Michael said: “For all I know, Nick will see, if he can exploit this situation to his advantage. Looking like an adoring dog? You might as well have handed him a free card to attack a person’s weak spot. Dogs may be said to be loyal and kind, but Nick will twist that reputation for his own use. He’s a liar, and he’ll always be a liar. Mark my words, Gabriel: Don’t underestimate this situation.”

Michael said: “Well, I cannot really snip with my paw. So that’s gonna be a No. Let me try something else.” She closed her eyes and concentrated herself. However despite Michael summoning all her power, she could not make the sheath appear. “I’m powerless!”, she called and stomped the ground with one paw. “The sheath should be in my room. Could you miracle it here?” Michael may not always use Philomena, but that didn’t mean she did not know how to properly take care of a sword. Partically one, which could set itself on fire. Philomena was - in a way - the original flaming sword. Even more potent then Aziraphale’s.

Gabriel nodded at Michael’s reasoning, then pounded his fist into his palm in determination. “If so, then we must find where Nick is right now!”

The thought of the demon in dog form performing miracles was worrying, but admittedly the sight of Michael failing to perform miracles did reassure Gabriel that Nick was powerless. Gabriel clicked and Philomena’s sheath wrapped itself around Michael’s sword, fitted inside a harness. Carefully, he picked it up, then fastened the sword onto Michael’s back. “Great. Now we can go find Nick. How’s your sense of smell? Maybe you can sniff him down.”

Michael said: “Gabriel, we can focus on Nick later. I highly doubt that us being dogs still allows us to use our powers. Or well, I believe it cuts off a majority of our powers. Which means, if we are lucky, Nick cannot oneshot people as a Husky. So that’s a good start. It’s still less then ideal.” A dog could only do so little, especially when faced with a more powerful opponent like a demon. Could it help, if Michael bit them very hard?

Michael said: “I was cleaning Philomena.” She trotted over to the flaming sword. Michael had dropped it, when she had been changed into a shiba inu. The weapon had not gone off luckily and instead layed there, inconspiciously and fine. The handle was decorated with gold and in parts, wings were sprouting out of it. The shaft was surrounded by a dead dragon, a symbol of what she had defeated with that same blade.

Michael said: “Cannot do much now. I can hardly even pick up the sword. See?” The shiba inu grabbed the very sharp blade by its handle and tried to raise it. Holding the sword between her teeth, the disbalance caused Michael to totter on the spot, before she softly put the sword back down.

A theatrical grimace. “Gee, I sure hope not. Little bastard’s probably gonna make a mess of everything though.”

The sight of dog Michael trying to lift the sword was really cute... if she was a regular dog rather than an angel trapped in a dog’s body. “Where’s Philomena’s sheath? Maybe we can strap it to your back or something. Can you perform miracles as a dog? Or do I have to summon it?”

The Shiba Inus’ black eyes rolled around as if they couldn’t believe it had taken her best friend this long to figure it out. Sure, Gabriel sometimes was a bit self-absorbed (or dense as bad tongues might say), but that did not mean he was stupid. Far from it. He could be clever, if he put his mind to it.

Michael softly booped Gabriel’s nose with the tip of hers. She said: “Yes, it’s me. You couldn’t already tell from the orange coat? Nevermind. Before you say it, yes, the Husky is Nick. I have no idea what happened.”

Thankfully Michael did not seem upset that he didn’t recognise her after she booped his nose. Coat? He frowned. Michael’s hair was blonde, and her coat was white. Wouldn’t her... transformation into a dog result in a pale coat, too?

A chill went up Gabriel’s spine when Michael told him that the Devil was the husky. He turned around. However, Nick was nowhere to be seen. 

“Uh oh. E-erhm, whatever. Screw that jackass.” He waved his hand in dismissal. “Let’s start with you. What were you doing when you turned into a dog? Maybe we can retrace our steps.”

“Aww. Aren’t you just the cutest little THING!” Gabriel knelt down and gave the shiba inu a head scratch. He will tend to the husky, don’t worry. Once he finished petting the shiba inu. (Gabriel from @exolvauteur)

Michael gave a protesting whine and was about to stagger back in shock, when Gabriel leaned down and rustled his fingers through her thick, orange fur. However upon feeling those fingers in her pelt, her rolled up tail softly wagged from side to side. She turned her head sideways, leaning into the head scratches. Her muzzle pulled into a smile. However Michael said telepathically: “As awesome as this is, Gabriel, this is serious!”

When the shiba inu leaned into his scratches, Gabriel smiled widely and patted the fluffy orange head with his other hand. 

Suddenly a message appeared in his head and he let go instantly. While the dog herself did not speak, per se, the tone was all too familiar. His violet eyes widened as his jaw dropped. 

“Mi... Michael... ?” He leaned forward and squinted, wondering whether he’d see any recognition in the eyes. “Is that you?”

Gilbert leaned back in his chair, squinting out the window. What had brought Gilbert to Paris this time?

“I challenged a man to a duel because he cut me off in his vehicle,” he revealed with absolutely no subtlety. “–To the death. Now, I’m not supposed to be dying anymore, so there are some stakes, you know. Anyways, we didn’t specify, so I’m not sure what kind of weapons to show up with. A rapier and dagger? Or pistols, you know - I always did well with those.” He sipped at his coffee with a pause. “….Or perhaps I could do it a very modern way, you know….and just use a military drone.”

André blinked and tilted his head at Gilbert’s reason for visiting. It must’ve been at least 100 years since he had been in a brawl... oh no, it had been 2 thanks to that road rage incident. He sipped his own cup of coffee.

"Alors... if you're doing it while high or drunk use fists. You don't want to accidentally pierce any parts where regular people can’t grow back or simply get surgery on, like an eye. Then the bastard might come back for more...”

His suggestions faltered when Gilbert mentioned firearms, and he stroked his chin. “A... a military drone? Ah... murd- merde...” André was desperately hoping that Gilbert thought he was simply swearing rather than making an accusation. He glanced away sheepishly and sipped his coffee. “That I can’t help.”

It’s been such a long time since I’ve been online. 

My former lover Aaron had passed away near the end of 2019. I was with him and his family during his last moments. Even though we separated decades prior, he chose to welcome me back into his life as a family friend. He was the strongest person I have seen in a long time, and I shall never forget him. 

I relapsed into a long depressive episode, both because the love of my life died and because of the fucking Michael Bay movie that 2020 was. Aaron’s kids and grandkids visited me a lot however and helped me out as much as they could, and so did Francis. Their compassion awe and humble me so much, and I will think of them as family as long as I can. 

I’m not completely recovered-- Hell I’ve been stress eating a bit, and everything else has still been driving me gaga. But nothing is perfect, because it is life. Life is messy. It is an ocean. Sometimes it is calm, but other times it wants to throw you overboard. However it is through our love and acts of kindness for each other that we can sail through it. Cherish your loved ones, your friends and family. Through this turbulent and confusing life, you’ve found each other, and you’ve supported each other through everything. That is something to be celebrated.
