If a white child was drowning and you were the only one that coukd save it, would you? I would save you and yours if y'all was drowning and I was the only one there to help. I'm curious, not trying to make it about whites. I would hate most whites too if I was black and hate many now.I would not hate all but would find it hard to know which few were trustable which would make me stand offish towards all.
Here we see a perfect example of a white person using strange hypothetical situations to put their extreme ignorance and disdain towards PoC on display. Not only does this particular white assume that PoC are so hateful that they would rather watch a child drown than save them, they also are positioning PoC who speak about their experiences regarding racism and otherization as “standoffish”(which is a very...interesting term to use, by the way), while simultaneously positioning themselves as much more benevolent and kind than us angry blacks. This particular white person would save a Black child if they were drowning! How kind, how wonderful, how utterly grand. Note how this white immediately attempts to ingratiate themselves to us after their initial insult by stating that not only would they hate most whites if they were Black, but they hate many whites now! Wow! And yet, immediately after this statement they make sure to clarify that they would still be better than us, since they wouldn't hate ALL of the whites, as they assume that we do, obviously.Also hey, good job at “not trying to make it about whites” while simultaneously making everything everything about this all about whites and white feelings and strange white assumptions.
