Imagine, you’re walking through the green fields, reimbursing yourself with nature at last after being in the city for so long. The smell of the blades as they brush against the soles of your shoes still felt beneath the rubber material ; it’s so refreshing to finally have this chance to rid your lungs of smog and your sensation of touch with crowds constantly brushing alongside you. It’s a world that you’re not quite used to since your common surroundings encompass skyscrapers and cars, though you still can hear them faintly in the distance but they begin to fade the further you traverse toward the small place you were recommended when you mentioned wanting some nature -- some peace from everything civilization.
That’s when you see in the distance, as you crest a hill, a herd of reindeer. They’re calm, no reason to fear them, as the large graze and the smaller frolic about, but that’s not what catches your eye.
From behind is a young man wearing a traditional, yet unfamiliar to the common clothing of today, outfit upon his form. Fingertips of his adjust his hat as he slowly turns from the reindeer he’d been grooming with brush underneath occupied hand, yet when he sees you, there’s something that causes you to pause in your tracks ; as his tanned face comes into view, the bluest eyes meet yours...
...and the warmest smile graces his features.
