Güliz was born in İzmir at 1982.She graduated from Fine Art Faculty Cinema department from Marmara University at 2004. She lived in London-UK for a year,and furthered her skills by attending design courses.After coming back to Turkey,she has worked 7 years as a freelance art director in the production of commercial media. The brand “YUKA” was born in 2009 while Guliz was designing jewelry for herself. She furthered her creativity by attending a metal smith workshop and start using different materials like silver, bronze and brass in her designs. Guliz currently designs unique collections with the help of different materials. She is inspired from nature,her inner thoughts and experiences.
