I recently drew my favorites as the Heathers so what does Deuce, Holt, Jackson, and Heath think of the 1980’s movie Heathers (not the musical)

Deuce is strongly reminded of Cleo.

Holt belts candy store on the regular.

Jackson can’t see it cuz of Holt so he’s indifferent.

Heath tells people he can’t stand it. (He listens to the soundtrack on repeat)

Returning to my roots with some pointless headcanons about the mansters

Does that manster skip leg day?

Heath: Yes, he only does arms and he doesn’t do them very well, it’s mostly ego lifting

Clawd: Not only does Clawd not skip leg day, his leg day also includes injury prevention, his knees are bullet proof

Deuce: No, but only because he works out with Clawd and Cleo said he has a nice ass once, he doesn’t want to loose that

Jackson: No, he doesn’t go to the gym much because they’re always playing music but he does have a routine he does some times and it does include legs

Holt: Yes, Holt doesn’t workout at all but thinks he could out lift the average monster

Gil: No, but he only does calisthenics

Manny: Surprisingly no, but his leg day does have a suspicious amount of bench press

Porter: Do ghosts need to go to the gym? If they did, he wouldn’t do leg day

Slo-Mo: Yes, working out can be hard for zombies in general, but when do does do it he has the most optimal routine ever made for him by Ghoulia

i think bluesey is so compelling to me because gansey is forced to like blue for her personality. the kiss curse takes away any possibility of physical intimacy, so all of gansey's feelings have to revolve around who blue is as a person. there is still so much yearning there, but it's built first on their relationship, not physical attraction.

so many book romances begin because the characters find each other hot, and personality crushes develop (maybe) later (if we're lucky). bluesey did it the other way around. and that's why i love them so much.

it's also important to note that blue's personality is very much not stereotypically feminine. she is entirely self-sufficient and independent, and it's clear that she is in control of her feelings for gansey; if he were to be manipulative or dismissive toward her, she would simply walk away! she is perfectly okay being on her own, and she's not going to take anything from anyone just because they're pretty! and gansey is still down bad for her.

thank you maggie stiefvater for writing 1. good romance and 2. self-sufficient girls in that romance.

Rewatching Freaky Fusion and in retrospect, bruh, why weren’t Jackson and Holt involved in the plot at all 😭😭😭🙏??? You have a plot where multiple pairs of characters are suddenly sharing one body and you DON’T involve Jackson and Holt at all?? That’s kinda their whole thing?
