one of the main things i do fight for my life with is like coloration/coloring in my artwork — and i think realistically it’s because i’m predominantly practiced in traditional and i never had (and still don’t have) access to like colored markers or pencils etc. because they’re too expensive, so i didn’t develop that skill set along with my general art skill set, you know. like as i was learning how to do xyz thing, i wasn’t learning how to do it in color. so now i just have to practice with a stronger focus on that to get it to the level that i want it to be at (in digital where colors don’t cost money HAHA)

but yeah, it’s a little miserable because i love love love color, it’s something that really draws me in — so it can be disheartening to have such difficulty utilizing it in a way i find satisfactory. but i’ll keep at it until i get there 🫡
