Her breath caught in her throat and caught his hand in hers, “I’m very glad you do.”

“I have no regrets,” he chuckled, pulling a face as her hands cupped his face. “Yet here you are.”

She was quiet and simply looked at him scratching her fingers softly over the side of his face for a moment before letting them fall. “Here I am” she sighed a little and leaned forward resting her head on his shoulder.

“Oh. Good” she sat back down, “You’d think this school would have enough money to have good lights.”

“Maybe a lot?” He smiled softly, kissing her gently.

She grinned her face flushing red, "I mean there may have been restless night thinking about you. And many stories with which you were the first person I wanted to tell and could not. And no one else's attention seemed to give me as much... Joy as yours. So I supposed that it what missing you would mean but I don't really know."
