“I wanted to have a couple, but as I said I am unintentionally getting to the drunk stage of the night.”
he leaned into her a little bit, “the drunk stage is the fun stage.”
laceyxjames :
“because I wanted to confront him. Ask him why he has done everything that he has.”
“that’s really brave of you, i wouldn’t be able to do that. what did he say?”
exquisiteelvetta :
“I’ve been known to make bad decisions when I’m drunk.”
“so have i, so it sounds like we’re a perfect match.” he said, grinning at her.
“i’m not too sure about that, actually.” passion chuckled. “alcohol is a depressant.”
“i’m pretty sure about it.” he pushed a shot her way lightly, “come on, it’ll be fun.”
fae-tanya-anderson :
“I’m not really in the mood for getting drunk, although I am on my third drink already so I might be on my way there.”
“why are you at a bar if you aren’t in the mood to get drunk?” he asked with a tiny smile.
“he’s done a lot of shit over the years but yeah…
“why did you go to visit him?”
boone leaned against the bar and grinned, “i’m just sayin - i think you’d be having more fun if you were as drunk as i am.”
stretcholivia :
“Good, no more leaving.”
“i promise i won’t leave ever again.” he slurred.
“Where did you think he wound up after keeping me in the basement all those years?”
“shit - lace i didn’t know he did that to you.”
“Well, you know, getting visitors rights to see someone in jail can take quite a while.” She shrugged. “And how is your head now?”
“your dad is in jail? shit i didn’t know that lace.” he bit his lip slightly, “it’s better.”
“Visiting my father, I think the better question is, where have you been, hm?” She raised her brow.
“that’s a long time to be visiting your father. me? i’ve been at home too, clearing my head after the whole me kissing you when i was with georgia thing.”
stretcholivia :
“Presents don’t make it better. They know you leave them.” Olivia said as she leaned her head back.
he frowned, “i’m trying my best, liv. i’ll make it work, i promise.”
“Oh my god, it’s Boone.” Lacey chuckled, hugging him back as best she could given his tight bear hug. “Kid, huh? Now that I missed.”
he held her close for another minute before pulling away, “where have you been?”
stretcholivia :
“You’re a good dad when you’re here and shit one when you leave..” Olivia mumbled. “But you’re never here.”
“i’m here now.” he said quietly, closing his eyes.
“God, it’s good to be back.” Lacey smiled as she walked onto the campus.
“lace!” boone said excitedly and wrapped her in a bear hug, “what the fuck, kid i’ve missed you!”
stretcholivia :
“You’re really fucking good at running.”
“i know... probably too good.” he rested his cheek on her shoulder and closed his eyes, “i’m going to stop running. i have to be a good dad.”
stretcholivia :
“Waiting for people fucking sucks. You leave me all the time, and now Xander left. Why do you always have to leave?” She slurred
he was quiet for a moment, just looking at her with a slightly sad expression, “because running is easier than facing tough or scary situations.”
