When I met Lyn-Z for the second time in Minneapolis, April 5th, 2014, I asked her if there was a meaning behind the necklace she’d been wearing almost without fail, on and off stage for the past couple years. She went on to tell me how she loved the necklace, it is blue topaz, and was given to her by her husband Gerard. She loved the spirituality behind gemstones and said blue topaz is known to have spiritual meaning, but her necklace is also the perfect length that whenever she backbends, it often hits her teeth!
