Now this, he did not expect. If it wasn’t one of the hottest girls in the land. He wanted to kick himself on his own leg for being in this shoddy state during their reunion. 

However, bandages and limping was all he was after his experience with Gilgamesh. But that didn’t stop the womanizer to look good in front of one of his favourites.

He slowly climbed up on his wooden sword/temporary crutch. Trying to stand as straight as possible, negating the pain in his right leg or practically everywhere else. The bandage on his head sliding down forcing him to pull it back up and tighten it.

  " Why… Noel. You’re looking as beautiful as ever. "

"M-mr. Kagura!?  What are you doing here!?"

As she spoke she noticed all of the bruises and bandages.  Kagura wasn't exactly the weakest fighter so whoever, or whatever got him must have been extremely powerful.  The thought of someone beating Kagura and leaving him in such a bad shape frightened her a little but that wasn't what was important right now.  She began to sprint towards him to make sure he wasn't bleeding out or anything.

"Now isn't really the time for flattery you big dummy!  Are you ok?!  What happened to you?!"

Noel frantically checked his body to check to see how bad his injuries really were.  She gently pushed his sword out of the way and pulled his arm around her shoulder trying to help take the weight off his legs.

"Here, let me help get you to a doctor.  I'm sure there has to be someone in this city that can help you!"

Empty

Unpleasant sensation invading the body of the man as he walked around this unknown city. Nothing had to do with his world or perhaps it did? He didn’t have time to question such thing for the time being. To have someone limit him was mockery, to lose his NoL Yukianesa, now that was enraging. Wherever he needed to go, at least that apartment place was a start.

Sound of the pavement under the sole of his shoes, completely ignoring the fuss and the screams all around. This city was nothing but chaos, and it repulsed him. Worst than Ikagura itself, what they needed was discipline but he wasn’t the one to give it out, for he care none of the inhabitants of the place. 

Icy blue eyes looked forward, not even once he glanced at his right or left, needless to point out behind. When he found to be standing in what seemed to be a busy district, Jin sighed in annoyance. A glance over this wooden sword in his hands and the sensation of nothing but calm. Faint memory of his brother speeding through his brain, though, that need of kill had been suppressed, by these people? He didn’t know. But he surely understood that such feeling wasn’t missed by his being.

Finally, the Major parted lips stopping himself in the middle of the side walk, plenty of passer by people one of them must be of use for someone like him.

"J-4, where do I find it." Nothing else was needed to be said, once he got his answer he’d walk away from the stranger.

Amidst the loud hum of constant chatter a lone girl was out for a walk trying to see more of the city she was held captive in for so long.  She knew the area around her apartment very well but there was still so much more to see.  Her mind wondered as she continued to walk the streets.  She been here for so long and yet the feeling of mystery and uneasiness still lingered.  Was it because she was told to forget everything she knew or was it because she had been reunited with her friends only to have them taken away from her again.

Perhaps it was better this way, she thought to herself.  After all she was essentially the catalyst for everything that happened in Kagutsuchi.  She wondered if it would be better for her to just ignore her fears and just try to continue living a normal life here.  She had a job so money wasn't a big issue yet something still felt...empty.  It was as if she had lost something important to her or she just lost sight in what she should be doing.

In the distance she saw a lonely bench, barren of the warmth provided by the body of someone who wished to relax there.  As she drew closer she decided that a short break from walking might calm her mind.  She wasn't wearing her beret, however she still had her hair clipped in the back.  Trying to avoid thinking about her past experiences with the city, her pale green eyes glistened as she stared into the distance wondering what she should do today.  

She wasn't paying much attention to it at first but across from her in the crowd something seemed... familiar.  She tried to focus her eyes on the crowd as she noticed someone with a blue uniform.  I-Is that...?  No it can't be... An NOL uniform?  As she continued to stare she started to recognize who that uniform belonged to none other than her superior Jin Kisaragi.  

"M-Major!?" She squeaked as she quickly covered her mouth trying not to focus any attention on her.  What's he doing here??  Did he just get here or has he been here for a long time and I just never noticed??  Should I go up to him??  No he'll probably just get angry with me...  Ohhh...what should I do?  Maybe it'll be different this time around.  Maybe he could actually use her help for once.  She was his subordinate after all.  Even though she left the NOL and she was trapped in this city there wasn't any reason for her not to help him...right?

With a jolt of self confidence, she got up and tried to catch up to him in the crowd.  She started to catch her breath as she began to tug on one of his arm tassels.

"M-Major...?  Is that really you?"

It was a tremendous weight that had been lifted off of her. To be able to see her standing there in front of her and in one piece.. Even if they were still trapped in some insane city run by insane scientists, she felt as though she no longer had anything to fear. But the moment of relief only lasted for a brief moment. Joyful expression soon turned to one of confusion at the expression on Noel’s face.. And then even moreso at her choice of words.

“My.. stuff? Moving out? What’re you talking about, Noel?”

The sudden change in topic seemed terribly out of place, but the distress on her friend’s face showed that she was being serious about it. But Makoto still had no idea what she could have been referring to. All her stuff was back in her own apartment.

Noel was really confused... Did Makoto have amnesia or something?  Something was really off here.  If she did move out then why doesn't she remember taking all of her stuff with her?  Maybe she's just kidding around?

"Well when I went back to our apartment all of your stuff was gone.  ...Don't you remember taking all of your stuff?"

We weren't robbed were we?...No that's impossible.  If we were then wouldn't they have taken my stuff too?  Noel was really confused now.  Did Noel upset her someway that would make her want to leave?

"Makoto we lived together remember?  You let me stay in your apartment with you.  I would still be living in a box if you didn't come and find me...a-are you sure you're ok?"

"WOW, that's a big gun."

"They're not normally this way.  My guns can transform when I need them to."

Finally. It felt like she’d been searching forever. She heard whispers of her name here and there, but never obtained any information that would lead to her exact whereabouts. After seeing the state the city was in when she first arrived, Makoto had feared the worst. But deep down she knew that she must have been fine. There was no way she could have been done in in a place like this.

It was by pure luck that she found her. She could never mistake that uniform of hers. Breaking off into a sprint, the beastkin cried out to her and hoped to every deity there was that this wasn’t some kind of dream or trick being played on her. No, she knew it wasn’t. This time it was real!

“Noel! You’re safe!”

"M-Makoto?!"

Safe...?  That's weird...why would Makoto ask if she was safe?  She hasn't been gone for that long has she?

"Where have you been Makoto!?  All of your stuff was gone from our apartment.  You're not...moving out are you?"

Noel had a sad look on her face.  She was worried that her best friend was moving out without telling her.  Something seemed weird though.  She was staring at Makoto but the way she was acting seemed...strange.  Noel kept staring at Makoto.  She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.  Maybe she was just worrying for nothing.

Noel looked around her apartment.  It was the same as always, her stuff was organized in a small area but something seemed off...

"huh?  Makoto's stuff is gone...  D-did she move out while I was away?"

All of Makoto's belongings were nowhere to be found.  Noel sat on her bed wondering where she could have gone.

Could she really have left without saying anything to me?  Makoto... Where are you?

Lucina nodded at her words. So she was still pretty new. It seemed like Caster’s cafe got a lot of new employees and sometimes they were a but hard to keep track of. She wanted to get to know the other hostesses ( and the very few hosts, besides her father ) since she would be working with them.

Besides, it would be nice to meet some new people and it would be nice practice for when she gets back to the future. What good is a leader if she can’t properly talk to her people? Granted, her title meant nothing here but still.

"Ah… I’ve been working here for a bit over a month. As for being in the city… I believe I’ve arrived five months ago." The Exalt sighed a bit. Five months or being trapped here. She knew time moved differently but she was still a bit worried about home.

"Five months...?"  She looked away from Lucina as she spoke in a softer tone.  Five months...  It's hard to Imagine being away from your home for that long but I guess you get used to living here after a while.  No wonder she seems so calm and casual.  She's been here so much longer than I have. 

"So um... What kinds of things are you into Lucina?  Do you have any hobbies or anything?"

Despite still being a little bit nervous Noel wanted to get to know Lucina a little more.  Maybe they'd both find something that they have in common.
