The day the whole fandom believes @Louis deleted the Always in My Heart tweet, Louis follows a fan with the tweet as her header (his only follow that day, and in the weeks prior to that, and in the weeks that followed that).
The day before the bullshit 2.0 tweet, Ben Winston spent the WHOLE LIVESTREAM goading Louis into saying he hated the ‘gay rumours’, that he regretted doing stuff that fuelled Larry, that they were in complete control of everything. And Louis consistently refused to comply and constantly made jokes to deflect.
In that same livestream, Louis mentions The Independent doing write ups about them, and Liam asks him if he saw that [article] the only article that The Independent had published in the past few WEEKS that Louis could be interested in was the one in which they congratulate him for his support of Tim Cook in coming out.
Mere DAYS after the bullshit 2.0 tweet, Louis gets a tattoo that this side of the fandom had been predicting and talking about for fourteen months. He takes pictures pointing to it (even though he got another tattoo that same day on his right wrist, there were no pictures of him pointing at it). The tattoo artist defines the tattoo as DAGGER, which is the exact name this side of the fandom was using. Not knife, blade, bayonet or another similar word. DAGGER.
Harry tweets the exact lyrics of a song that says “I can’t think straight, I’m so gay”.
Harry spends thousands of pounds in gay-friendly (ahem) art.
Harry is more committed and consistent in supporting the LGBTQ+ community than anything else he’s ever supported or talked about (dolphins, feminism, charities…)
From 2013 on and consistently, Harry has shown annoyance when asked about girls:
I: I needed to ask [about liking older women]
H: did you?
I: a lot of girls would like for you to touch them like this [while he was buttoning a male interviewer’s shirt]
H: well I’m on you now
H: she’s not my girl, I know what you’re doing
H: I have a lot of friends, some of them are girls, and apparently I’m dating all of them
[presented with the situation of chatting up a girl in a bar]
H: where are we in a bar? are we in America? Well I can’t go to a bar in America, so…
[about the constant rumours of him and girls]
H: it gets old after a while, constantly denying it. It gets boring. I’m bored of it.
H: *refuses to talk about Taylor Swift and constantly evades the questions*
H: *looks uncomfortable with questions about hooking up with fans, but is forced to answer* (even though Louis had absolutely no issues with lying about smoking weed, if this topic made Harry uncomfortable, he could’ve just lied, as Michael McIntyre said…)
H: you’re wrong, you’re wrong [about his luck with ladies]
From 2013 on and consistently, Harry has shown he has no issues with casting doubts on his sexuality.
Don’t knock it till you try it.
He’s outrageously handsome, isn’t he? He is steamy.
They have nice shorts (about a football team).
*cutthroat motion with a smile when asked what four things he sucks at* *smirks and says ‘lollipops’*
Never, never again (about having a crush on a girl).
Both Harry and Louis have made an inordinate amount of sexual innuendo jokes throughout the years, whether with each other or with other people. Never, not ONCE showing awkwardness presented with such a joke.
Both Harry and Louis danced around each and every denial about their relationship and only managed to say the word ‘no’ when asked point blank in questions that couldn’t be swayed (and even that only happened twice in six years).
Both Harry and Louis point to signs both about LGBTQ+ support and about their relationship, are extremely pleasant with fans that they know think they’re together, continue to follow such fans on social media (and even interact with them).
Louis has a tattoo that’s historically tied with the LGBTQ+ community and that an openly gay man he knows (Nick) has tattooed on his arm as well.
They stopped interacting to an exaggerated degree, even though every time they do interact they’re smiley, pleasant and obviously in excellent terms with each other.
Their families are tangled together and have been since the start of the band. Way more than any of the other boys’ families.
The lack of denial (or any kind of measure) of Ziam, even though we’re supposed to believe Liam is the biggest 'no homo’ guy out there and Ziam has evolved in a topic way bigger than 'Larry’ was in 2012 (when the separation and the denials started).
The mental gymnastics you have to do to find explanations and excuses for each and every one of these things should tell you enough. Most of the times, the explanations for these things are just plain stupid. Occam’s razor.
