hello! I've made this blog for one of my oc's for FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, Ezriel! I've never done one of these before but think rp blogs look super fun. For anything out of character (or ooc) it'll be formatted like this:

as for Ezriel's lore, I haven't quite finished the whole thing sadly, but the main idea is that he had come to earth to explore, got kidnapped by scientists and was experimented on by scientists (that's why his right eye looks like that). After a while, the laboratory was abandoned for almost 200 years, leaving Ezriel stuck and alone until John Ward had found him and rescued him. Now, Ezriel does his best to help John on his demon fighting journey :D

Edit: I forgot to mention that he is very fascinated by flying creatures, especially fireflies. He is very curious. Also he's like 6'4, and tries to make his wings look bigger whenever upset/threatened, kind of like an owl

As for… talking about myself, I quite enjoy spending time in the church garden. It’s peaceful…

A girl of about 16 years old watched the person with curiosity. She observed him from a distance; her long, messy blonde hair covered most of her face. Her clothes were dirty, but they were clearly blue. The girl began to back away, but she stepped on something that made her slip and fall to the ground with a loud thud.

(Ezriel seems a bit startled by this, quickly glancing over at where he had heard the sudden noise. He moves closer rather cautiously, having learned the hard way that being curious with no worry isn’t the best.)

“… Hello…?” (Ezriel calls out cautiously, seeming a bit weary.)

Isaac, as per usual, was half stumbling his way through the church garden- muttering to himself and squinting like the plants were purposely planted here to wrong him. His eye had been throbbing all day, and quite frankly, he was getting tired of pretending it didn’t bother him. He’d decided Ezriel was the best one to go to about this sort of thing…lately, Ezriel had been a sort of comfort to him. He was easy to be around…Easy to talk to.

John wasn’t kidding when he’d called this place a maze. There were so many plants…Tall ones, weird looking ones, stuff with thorns- why were there so many thorns?? Not exactly ideal when your depth perception is shot to hell.

“Ezriel?” he called out, wincing as he bumped into something leafy. “You out here…?”

As soon as he heard his name, Ezriel popped up from behind one of the many flower bushes in the garden.

“Hm? Oh, hello Issac!”

Ezriel, like usual, seems happy to see Isaac.

There seems to be quite a few leaves in Ezriel’s wings though, most likely from him being in the garden for who knows how long.

Despite all of the leaves, his wings still somehow look very soft.

Isaac flinched at the sudden voice, but the moment he registered it as Ezriel’s, a wide grin spread across his face.

“Ezriel! Hello!!” he beamed, quickly weaving his way through the garden, just narrowly avoiding trampling any flowers.

As he got closer, he immediately noticed the leaves tangled in Ezriel’s wings and hesitated- before very quickly blurting out:

“Wait- your wings are covered in leaves! Can I…can I clean them off? Please? I promise I’ll be gentle! Pinky promise!”

He was already fidgeting with his fingers in anticipation. He’d felt Ezriel’s wings before- they were so soft. Softer than anything, really. He loved the feeling. Sensory issues sucked most days, but Ezriel’s wings? They were perfect…

“Hm? I don’t see why not…”

Ezriel doesn’t seem bothered by the thought of this, and so he turns around and sits down on the ground, his wings spreading out slightly.

“Just… you know my rule about not touching the inside of my wings.”

Ezriel reminds quietly as he sits there, trusting Isaac to be careful while doing this.

Isaac was practically buzzing with excitement as he shuffled up behind Ezriel, He made sure to be extra careful…no sudden movements, no tugging…just gentle fingers brushing along the angel’s wings, plucking stray leaves with reverence.

"Okay, okay- just hold still," he murmured, voice soft with focus.

His touch slowed a little as his fingers drifted over the feathers, barely grazing them, and he let out a quiet, content sound. They were so soft…Like clouds. Like silk. Like everything good in the world bundled into something warm and safe. He sighed a little, practically melting.

“If someone made a bed outta these, I’d never get up again,” he muttered under his breath, half-laughing, half serious.

“Is that… something you would like? I’m not sure if I shed enough feathers to be able to do something like that within just one summer… it may take a while.”

Poor Ezriel. Half the time he didn’t understand if someone was joking, taking it seriously most of the time.

He continued patiently sitting there, allowing Isaac to continue pulling out leaves.

Occasionally, a shed feather would fall out with a leaf.

Isaac could probably just put a couple of the feathers in his pocket if he really wanted to.

Isaac let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head fondly as he kept working the stray leaves free. For a brief moment, he eyed one of the loose feathers (awfully tempted to pocket it like a little gremlin) but he resisted, instead letting it drift gently to the ground. His fingers continued to trail carefully through the soft plumage, slow and deliberate.

“Your wings are really pretty, Ezriel…like, really pretty,” he said, voice full of awe.

He was smiling without even thinking about it, bright and open in that rare way- utterly content, completely himself.

“Oh, thank you… it’s a shame I can’t keep them out more often. They get awfully itchy this time of year because of shedding…”

Ezriel scratches at one of his wings as he says this, clearly a bit itchy from all the loose feathers.

Isaac pulling out all the leaves seems to be helping at least a little bit though, making it so there’s not as much making him itchy there.

Otherwise, Ezriel seems quite calm. He seems to enjoy the feeling of someone cleaning his wings, or at least brushing their fingers through them.

He really was like a bird sometimes…

“They’re really pretty…I really like them,” Isaac murmured, his voice quiet. “I imagine it’s not very nice, having to keep them hidden…”

His fingers continued to drift softly through the angel’s feathers, touch light and unhurried. Ezriel reminded him of a bird…maybe a dove, something pure and calm. His thoughts began to wander, his hands moving almost on instinct now, brushing through the delicate plumage.

The texture was heaven. Soft and silken and warm. Isaac felt like he could melt into it. He let out a little hum, content, gently swaying in place.

He really wanted to just wrap his arms around Ezriel and doze off right there- buried in wings, safe and sound. That sounded so good right now. So, so good.

“Mhm… it doesn’t help that I don’t find many human clothing to be very comfortable… it all feels too restrictive.”

It makes sense now why Isaac had only ever seen Ezriel in his robe before, only ever wearing anything else when going to mass with John.

After a few minutes, Ezriel was just sitting silently, his eyes peacefully closed. It’s almost as if he was half asleep, in some sort of relaxed, content state thanks to Isaac.

He almost looked like a bird sleeping, his wings fluffed up a little now.

Did angels even need to sleep? Probably not, considering Isaac has never really seen or heard of Ezriel sleeping… except for one time when it didn’t go very well.

There was a slight breeze as well, helping the temperature to be more of a comfortable warmth.

It was the perfect day to be sitting out in the garden like this.

Isaac nodded- it made sense.

He couldn’t help but giggle a little at the way Ezriel’s wings fluffed up, he really was like an oversized and divine pigeon. The thought made him smile as he continued to gently trace his fingers through the feathers. His eyes were half-lidded and growing heavier by the second.

“Mmm…so sleepy!” He mumbled, “Your wings are so soft…this is really nice…”

His voice trailed off, warm and context. He could’ve easily fallen asleep right then and there, curled up beside Ezriel, for once at peace.

“… it is nice… however, we should probably head back at some point… I don’t want anyone to walk by and potentially see me like this…”

Ezriel points out while sitting there, still seeming quite content since his voice is quite soft at the moment.

It’s almost as if he was getting a bit drowsy, which was rather amusing to see.

Nearby, a dove landed on a branch. It made it to Isaac was able to compare the dove’s wings to Ezriel’s as the bird settled on the branch, its feathers also fluffing up slightly.

It was quite funny how much Ezriel acted like an oversized bird sometimes.

Isaac nodded sleepily, yawning as he slowly rose to his feet. He’d long since cleared the last of the leaves from Ezriel’s wings- he’d just been absentmindedly brushing over them, more for comfort than anything else.

“Alrighty, c’mon, dove…let’s head inside,” he murmured, voice soft. “We could sit by the window if you’d like? Still catch some sun.”

He held out a hand to help the angel up. In the center of his palm was a distinct mark: a freshly burned circle, red at the edges like it had only just healed over.

“I think that would be a perfect spot…”

Ezriel nods in agreement, reaching out to grab Isaac’s hand before pausing slightly and curiously holding it palm-up instead, inspecting the circle with curious eyes… or, well, a curious eye since the right one usually just looked like shiny black void.

“What’s this from?”

Ezriel inquires, clearly curious about what happened as he glances up at Isaac, head slightly cocked to the side.

He doesn’t seem to have even realized yet that Isaac had called him “dove”.

“Does it still hurt or anything?”

Isaac hesitated, eye flicking away. “I…I’m not really sure, actually,” he admitted quietly. “But-”

He lifted his other hand, revealing an identical mark: the same circular wound, burned into the center of his palm. Then, with a slow motion, he turned both hands over- matching scars on the backs as well.

“They showed up on my feet too,” he murmured. “It’s been like this for a while now. They…they burn sometimes. Especially when I pray.”

He glanced back at Ezriel, voice softening to almost a whisper.

“I’m too scared to get it checked…”

“Well… if it doesn’t hurt now, it should be fine… right?”

Ezriel says, not really knowing what else to do as he stands up, towering over Isaac a little bit as he shakes off his wings slightly, getting out any other loose feathers for now.

It almost looked like a pillow exploded on the ground after Ezriel did that. John probably had to clean up so many feathers from Ezriel this time of year…

“… we should probably head back now.”

Ezriel then starts leading Isaac back to John’s house. John was probably out doing something right now anyways, so he most likely wouldn’t be there at the moment.

Isaac, still drowsy, simply nodded along. He was far too tired to say much- this whole thing had accidentally drained him. Sleep had been escaping him lately, it was no wonder he was practically on the verge of dozing off right there.

He followed behind Ezriel, dragging his feet a little, always just a step or two behind the taller angel. His thoughts drifted as he stared down at his hands. The markings…he didn’t understand them. But he’d noticed the resemblance- the placement, the shape. It mirrored something sacred. Something painful.

Jesus.

He didn’t know what to make of that. Was it a sign? A punishment? Something demonic clinging to him? He couldn’t say. He only knew they hurt.

It didn’t take long for the two to get back to John’s house. Ezriel slowly pushed the door open and glanced around inside.

“… John isn’t home right now… he should be alright with you coming inside though.”

Ezriel holds open the door for Isaac, allowing him to step inside. There are a couple of feathers scattered around, but not too many.

After getting inside, Ezriel steps away from the wall and into the middle of the living-room, stretching out his wings after sitting down for so long.

Isaac followed behind the taller man without a word, his footsteps quiet. He gave a small nod.

“I doubt he’ll mind- he comes by our place unannounced all the time,” he added with a soft chuckle.

As the door was held open for him, Isaac murmured a quick, “Thanks,” and stepped inside, instinctively brushing off his shoes and slipping them off by the door.

The house looked just the same as he remembered, but there was a noticeably strong scent of cleaning supplies in the air. It made him pause for a moment before continuing in.

“Thank you for having me,” he said warmly, offering a polite smile.

Ezriel pauses for a moment before looking over at Isaac with a confused expression, his wings slowly moving to fold behind him.

“… for… having you?”

Every once in a while, Ezriel would be introduced to a new saying that puzzled him. Some of them he figured out quickly, but others he just… got confused by.

“Doesn’t… ‘having someone’ mean you’ve… given birth to someone?”

Ezriel was quite stumped with this saying, despite it being such a simple one. It was funny to see what his mind came up with whenever trying to figure out what they meant, like right now.

Daughter of the Moon, staring at her opponent, who was wearing a bandage covering one of his eyes. The curious girl approached to speak to him. "Are you real?" The girl, about 7 years old, asked, her expression neutral like that of a newly made doll.

Ezriel seems rather startled by this. Luckily his wings were also hidden at the moment.

“Ah- uh… I-… yes, I am… real…”

Ezriel pauses for a moment, glancing around uncertainly.

“Who… are you?”

Ezriel asks slowly, looking very lost about what exactly he’s supposed to do in this situation. He’s never had to interact with a child before and doesn’t know how to act.
