can we please talk about how masc4masc fiction is very frequently The Scoundrel x The Outstanding Citizen? especially written by women???? don’t get me wrong i’ll take what i can get but im tired of this trope tbh. maybe im just reading/listening some of the same authors, but it’s a bummer to me at this point. masc4masc romance is never allowed to be soft or domestic. there is always some tragic/forbidden/conflicted energy behind it. why can’t masc4masc people in media just be madly in love and that’s what it’s about? masc4masc joy???
