there’s soooooooo much entitlement going on in lads regarding valko. for all the gossip and rumors and things that were being skewed as reasons to keep hoping (government involvement, employee safety, censorship, corporate sabotage) now suddenly meaning the opposite just because there was no announcement pre update - now the company is greedy and terrible again actually and there’s no nuance at all to this situation now bc we didn’t get what we wanted it when we wanted it.

oh my goddddddd like the instant gratification expected is nuts to me. nobody said we were getting him back on the 9th. it was our hope but never a guarantee. infold being silent seems pretty on purpose. maybe it’s not all about you and what you want right now and there’s a bigger picture worth being patient for and actual real people behind the screen that are being thought about before making another business decision that could be a pr nightmare or put the company at risk for losing the game entirely.

too many people in the tags have taken the tone of wow those *evil awful entitled Chinese players who did this to us in the first place — using the exact same money/time spent therefore = i should get what i wanted mentality and it’s just like. holy fuck get a grip.

SUPERMARKET OPENING: to celebrate a new blog and to cultivate friendships new & old, i wanted to host an event that encouraged re-connection, flexed my graphic design muscles, and centered on my favorite of the love languages - food!

NO RESERVATION REQUIRED: this event is open to everyone! i’d love the opportunity to meet new people and encourage friendships, and what better way to do that than through the power of food?

HOT TO GO: i will create a fun little png of what i would make you if you were in my kitchen or at my takeout counter, with a shorthand recipe & any tips or tricks i may have to make the meal a five star endeavor!

ORDER UP: send an ask with any of the following information - your dietary restrictions, favorite foods or ingredients, any ethnic or national preferences, allergies, and anything you may tell a waiter to keep off your plate!

TABLES FOR TWO: it wouldn't be an event without your f/o's! include them in your order as well if you please - and you aren't limited to just one, take as many seats at the table that you need, although multiple separate dishes may cost you extra! (aka may take me a little longer to prepare)

PICKY EATERS WELCOME: don’t trust me? that’s okay too! tell me your order and receive a png all the same!

this fucking older couple brought their yippy barking mini pinscher to the imaging clinic my fiancé is getting his MRI done at. it starts barking at EVERYONE who walks by, or opens a door, or pulls up to the front windows. the husband is currently sitting in the waiting area with me and i am doing the middle aged mom sighs and scowling. it’s not a fucking service dog. i hate it so so so so much like this is not appropriate????? can’t say shit either and i know no one working here gets paid enough to do more than ignore it but im so fucking pressed. take your poorly behaved dog out of here??? sit in the car with it???? why must we all be subjected to this

i just think everyone could be a bit more patient with infold given the scope of everything that’s happened. it was US who decided they’d make a statement on the 9th to precede the update. i know it feels like a bad sign but when they fumbled the release & cancellation as bad as they did, i too would tread very carefully in what i say next
