Notice how Albert is always seen wearing black and Alex is always seen wearing white?
It might represent how they're seen by people around them and the people they are. Albert was always elegant and intimidating. He was in control of his actions and his experiments. He was mysterious, he didn't show his emotions most of the time. Black represents darkness, power, authority. Everything that Albert was.
Meanwhile, Alex is usually seen wearing white. The color represents purity, perfection, and goodness – everything that Alex wanted Spencer to see in her just to betray him later. Spencer trusted Alex more than he trusted Albert, showing her all the experiments that her brother didn't get to see and she used that to her advantage. The small parts of black and red in her outfits would represent the hidden darkness under the innocence.
Am I going insane or am I onto something

Poor Alex.
Poor Alex.
Resident Evil 9 and King Lear
Spoilers for resident evil 9 and King Lear (tho it’s hundreds of years old lol)
Just a random thought I had during work but Oswald E Spencer is just like King Lear from Shakespeare’s play.
✅ Both have three Children (Wards)
✅ Both had two wicked, manipulative children who succeeded them and also led to their madness and undoing
For Spencer: Albert Wesker and Alex Wesker
And for Lear: Goneril, and Regan
✅ both had one good child
For Spencer: Grace Ashcroft
For Lear: Cordelia
✅ that one good child ends up becoming their last hope to fix the natural order. (Cordelia fails but so does Grace in the bad ending)
✅ both Spencer and King Lear had a loyal “fool” by their side too Victor Gideon and “the fool” (I say fool because Gideon and the connections were literally fooled by Spencer’s research, but in the case of King Lear he literally was a fool aka a jester)
You could also argue Leon represents the king of France as they both trust and want to protect Grace/Cordelia
I haven’t read King Lear in many years so I’m curious if there are any resemblances I missed.
This could also make a cool fanficion.

okay srs for a moment. "Ozwell Spencer had a change of heart ❤️" okay so did he rectify his actions towards Albert and Alex then?
This is going to change the entire premise of RE5. Literally from the intro scene. I've got a bad feeling with RE5 remake they're going to strip Wesker of what victimhood and shred of nuance he and Alex had :///
