HAPPY MOMS DAY!!💐🎁🎉 With my babies (claiming it! haha). My big boy is cam shy though. Some thoughts that struck me: _ The poet Alexis De Veaux writes, "Motherhood is not simply the organic process of giving birth. It's an understanding of the needs of the world." Home Gym 🔥 This is all my workout equipment for the last 3 years (including yoga and towel behind me). I have outgrown some of them tbh but naabutan ako ng lockdown! haha. So I have to make do with what I have. Today also marks 12 weeks of using the @sweat app by Kayla Itsines. 4 weeks in the gym, 1 week yoga at home, and 7 weeks weight training at home. So far I've lost 2% body fat (at least, coz I doubt my scale haha). Tbh the body/shape gains are secondary for me. I love the feeling of being stronger and having tons of energy, plus knowing that im cleansing my body etc (as a health nerd!). Exercise is keeping me sane and focused in quarantine. Over and over I say, it's my fave keystone habit.💯 With regards to my strength, I don't feel it has progressed as much, that is why I'm switching back to Amanda Bisk, who has recently released a new program. I'm easily magnetized towards her program because it mixes bodyweight training and yoga. So excited to jump right in! I'm a fan of her #freshbodyfitmind tests (swipe⬅️). I may not be much faster than 4 weeks ago, but I'm soooo much stronger than when I started in 2016! 22min vs 37min. First things first: Game face on 💚 Today is my cancer diagnosis anniversary. 6 years ago, I cut my hair. This year, I feel like keeping it.😁 Still thinking what else I can do.
