For this year’s @hxhbigbang2020 I went full traditional art and watercoloured for @mymisguidedfairytale ‘s Apparent Radiant fic.

Not only was it a pleasure to read, prose-wise, storytelling-wise and worldbuilding-wise, but Silva prioritizing smooching that rad new chick he just met over finding his brother’s killer was relatable on a transcendent level.

Please go read that Kikyo x Silva origin story, even if you only ever wondered how life in Meteor City might be.

- it’s the 90s and DiCaprio hair is THE shit - Hisoka has parents - Illumi is on his way to becoming the greatest asshole there ever was but mainly is a very destabalized child abuse victim that desperately needs somebody to lean on but all he gets is Hisoka. - Hisoka actually is not quite as psychopathic yet. If his full-fledged psychopathy developped before, after or alongside the clown aesthetic will forever remain a mystery. - did you see the background bc it actually EXISTS

i got to do a killua whom i dont draw enough bc i have inexplicably fallen for his very terrible big brother. seems like illu yet again keeps killu from getting the love he deserves....
