hey everyone please go read some desperate glory by emily tesh. action sci fi with an unreliable reliable narrator who has to go through 30 levels of character development to be a real Person and it's unique and unexpected and there is a queer romance in it but it's not the one you expect and not the other one you expect and not even that other one but the one you want so much you know there's no way it's going to happen because the author would have to be crazy to do it and then it DOES HAPPEN and anyway it made me cry. in a good way. and the romance isn't even the point. it's just a really good action sci fi about a bitch you wish would get it together finally getting it together.

Death and the Prince

My next binding! This one is based off of @arahir‘s lovely work, Death and the Prince. All of arahir’s stuff is great, but I chose to do this one because my (graphic designer) boyfriend offered to make the cover for me. And boy is it a cool cover.

Once I saw how ridiculous it was I also let him know he was going to be weeding it as well, which was a (predictably) terrible experience for everyone involved. He also designed some of the interior chapter headers, which turned out pretty neat. There’s a different one for each character.
