Two days left!

Hey guys! Unfortunately I got sick :( Which means that the past week has been a lot less productive than the week before. But that’s okay! As soon as I’m feeling better more progress will be made. I’m currently working on the final route, there’s quite a bit of work to be done but it’s about halfway there! After I’m done writing the route, we’ll be working on editing and getting some sort of a demo put together as well as a promotional video and such. There’s still quite a bit to do, but we’re getting there and we’re working hard! See you next week guys! - Averxy

Update

The chapter 4 beta is live! Two days have been completed so far. I’ve also started a new sprite, and started on another background for day 3. The Minyan Studios discord is also up and running! It’s been a blast so far. 

I’m still working on getting a demo with voice acting ready for The Pretenders Guild, stay tuned!

Writing Update 01

Hey guys! Averxy here!

So today I’ve been working on one of the character routes, and it’s done! It’s at around 10,500 words. From here I have to write the endings, and after that it’s just editing! This means that in the next few days I’ll be working on the other route, which has a lot of work left that needs to be done. Minyan and I have also decided on adding animation to the backgrounds! Just a few small things here and there to really bring the world to life. This game isn’t huge, but we want there to be a lot of small, nice features to make it great.

So, all in all, here’s my task list for the next week:

Write the endings for the completed route, then edit it

Continue writing the other characters route

This is basically what my tasks are going to be from here on out, but those are the two specific things I’m going to be focusing on.

Off Hiatus!

Hey everybody! Averxy here! I just wanted to let everyone know that we’ve been working slowly on Twisted, and we’re hoping to pick it up more steadily! Currently we have about 19,000 words written, 1,800 of which was done today, and the character sprites have been redesigned and polished. It’ll still be awhile before release, the endings haven’t been written, one route needs to be vastly expanded on, and editing needs to be done. Art-wise we have to do backgrounds, a bit more GUI, and all of the CGs and extras. It’s still a lot of work but we are determined to get this game released!! Minyan and I are working hard on this, we’ll get it finished and out when we can! Thank you for being patient with us!

Writing Excerpt

Looking over the bushes, I see a monster crouching in the clearing. I can’t tell what it’s doing, until it raises its head to let out a loud cry.

It’s… eating.

I feel bile rise up my throat.

It’s eating… a person. My eyes travel down to the body, and I start shaking at the gruesome sight.

… The person is still alive.

Twisted Tumblr Update

Hey everybody!

Minyan and I, Averxy, have decided to start doing updates twice a week! So on Wednesdays you’ll get writing updates which will include word count, where the writing is at, other features in the game, and a few miscellaneous things! As well as, of course, small excerpts and teasers of the story.

Then, on Sundays you’ll get art updates from Minyan. She’ll show you teasers of what she’s working on, let you know where the art is at, and let you know just generally what’s been finished in the past week!

This way all of our updates are put together more cohesively and we aren’t spamming with every update possible. Of course, if you’d like more frequent updates than this, you can check out our Twitter accounts (click our names, it’ll take you there!) or our Lemmasoft page for the game which you can find here.

hey guys!! i tried to get in contact with discord about adding a dyslexic font and they told me the easiest way to get a change to happen was to post a feedback idea and get votes on it, so if you guys could vote for accessibility for people who are dyslexic, color blind, and visually impaired in other ways it would mean a lot to me! thank you!

Plot
