y’all ever cry bc your mans is so nice and so good to you and handles things so maturely that it just shakes you up bc you’re still living w the trauma of your past relationships (not necessarily all romantic) and you’re in fear of someone blowing up at you for the smallest thing and your mans is just not like that and wow the healthy relationship after the toxic one(s) are always the hardest but of course the most worth it *cries*

If someone really hurt you, you're allowed to be angry about it. You don't have to be the bigger person. You don't have to forgive them. You're allowed to hate them for what they did to you - and doing that is actually a lot healthier than hating yourself for what happened.
