My faithful friend is back with new colors, more beads, and fluffier tassels! I’ve been dreaming about getting this tattoo since I was sixteen years old, and two years ago, an artist put its first draft onto my body. About a week ago, another artist edited it. After they finished, I waltzed over to the mirror in their studio and could hear the cheers of sixteen year old Megan ringing in my ears.
I love this tattoo so much. It’s pulled from a conversation Miroku had in episode 42 of InuYasha: a Feudal Fairy Tale. When I was younger, I didn’t fully grasp what Miroku was telling Koharu, but now I understand (at least a little bit) of what he was saying. We all have our own wind-tunnels, so wouldn’t it be amazing if we could use our curses as our strengths?
