The Patriarch

This actually isn’t recent. Similar to my ORV Ways of Survival piece, this one was developed little by little over the course of a little over a year. Just a piece to keep around for when I wanted to draw but didn’t have the energy for something new. Also gave me a change to experiment

I actually forgot about this until the other day when I was organizing my pieces in procreate. I know I’m not gonna do anything else with and I wanted to post again!! When working on this I thought of all the cool art of wwx being badass at this time and I loveeeee it, but also I wanted to try and make him look as miserable as sickly as he was instead

Ugh oufh art

I actually started this all the way in May and just worked on it every so often if I didn’t know what else to do but wanted to draw. I have another piece (mdzs) that I do the same with. I started working on it with the black, but I wanted to see how it’d look in mostly white and I kinda prefer it

I’ve been wayyy too stressed and tired and busy to draw. I really wanted to draw for oc tober but,,, I mean I still can but idk. I like some of the prompts tho so I’ll draw them even after october

Anyway I’m glad I had this piece available, bc I really wanted to draw smth but I felt my energy leaving me when I thought of starting something new

Anyway x2 ORV I love it 10/10 obsessed with all the time weirdness obsessed with the characters obsessed with the story they make me so ough. This book sparks so much creative energy in me (idk if that makes sense)

Idk if I’m really done with this piece or if I’ll have the urge to fix it up more or change something or whatever but I wanted to post something and I feel like this is a good place to stop. It probably is done tho

Master Key - Home

I was wondering if Neil’s duffle bag or binder should be his item, but 1. The keys are right there and 2. I don’t think he really has an attachment to them like he does for his keys. He doesn’t care about them or value them as objects, but as methods of keeping important information contained and away from others. They’re a means to an end but he easily gives them up when he no longer needs them.

I think his keys would work as sort of a limited version of Cthoni’s manhole. She can transport anywhere, but while Neil can unlock an escape route from anywhere, I figure his keys are tied to the person who gave them to him and/or locations in which he feels safe specifically. My idea was that it starts off as just the keys he has, but sorta transforms as most vital instruments do and more keys form on the key ring that lead him to specific people and/or locations he bookmarked. He probably acts as bait when they’re fighting the trash monsters

Maybe when he was on the run, the keys only sent him to random locations he’s never been to before, but when he stopped running and became more solidly a “real person”, their function changed.

Maybe I’ll draw Andrew in this AU too. I was debating between his armbands (more defensive/protection based) vs his knives (more offensive/attack based), but I think his armbands would work better. Maybe as some sort of shield idk. Andrew only becomes aggressive when he’s trying to protect others, and his armbands are meant to protect him (his scars and contain his knives) and later protect Neil when he gives him a pair of his own. He’s more of a protector than an attacker to me and it always felt like his armbands meant more to him than his knives, so that would be his item imo

This scene stuck out to me so much when I first read it. (I cut out a pretty big chunk between the ellipses but still!) I just had to draw it 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Angles that aren’t head on aren’t my strength, and neither are poses like this where the character is facing mostly away from the viewer, but it was fun trying!! Also I wouldn’t be surprised if a huge amount of time I spent on this was just dedicated to seeing whether he looked better with his eyes open or closed XDDD the composition was also pretty hard to decide on

Also this is the first piece with my new username >:) it’s longer so it’s harder to fit neatly into places, but I felt like I outgrew my last one and this one fit me more

Eat Your Young

I posted it on my TikTok account as well (linked in my pinned post) 🫡🫡🫡 it’s been like 4yrs since I’ve posted there

This idea has been on my mind for about 2 years, but I never had the energy to make it. My last edit, Dabi’s Dance, was simpler bc it was just one episode I was using, but for this I had to use ~14 episodes from four different seasons. That alone took me over two hours because it wasn’t just recording clips (which I then had to crop), it was me writing what clip I wanted to use for each line and then finding where all of the clips were and their time stamps and writing it down so I can go back to re-record them or find them if I took a break XDDD

This whole process took me over 5hrs, but I enjoyed doing it and seeing it all come together :D

I’m soooo happy I was able to join a fan event for this fandom so soon after I read the first trilogy. I really really enjoyed working with Riah (ao3 here!) and brainstorming details. They’re so talented and sweet and I love where they took the prompt. It was super fun!!! 🧡🦊

The Oldest Dream

Idek I wanted to make Saturn Devouring His Son by Francisco Goya but instead ORV. The reason for devouring is different of course 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ I first saw the painting in elementary school? I think? That or early middle school and it scared me so much but I couldn’t stop thinking about it for a long time. Saw it again early last year and then had the idea about a month ago

IDK GUYS Idk anatomy or coloring so I just went with vibes and ofc bc I’m extra I wanted to have YJH’s turns seeping out and being consumed. Halo style bc I love halos so this means this is Biblically Accurate Oldest Dream. Me when I think my previous lives just disappear into the abyss but the abyss is my constellation’s mouth

I kept messing with the lighting and whatnot but I would never post if I kept trying to make it look perfect so ya.

Anyway!!! Happy New Year!!! Was thinking of maybe making new years art but it’s the year of the horse and I couldn’t think of any fandom that I was in that would apply so (there probably is a character I just didn’t think very hard)

My contribution to the apple trend. This is my first orv fanart :D I was eating breakfast and this idea hit me like a truck, I’ve been struggling to get the energy to draw so I’m happy I was able to make this :D I also very rarely do side profiles or render stuff like the apple so I’m glad I got practice in. If you see typos uhhhhh shhhhh

It’s also the first piece I’ve made in over a year that wasn’t for a fan event or a friend :O
