Pulling a rather sour face as he spoke, not because it was he who spoke, but rather the subject matter. “I don’t think anyone would, least of all you.” Pulling on the sheets, she kept the clean ones well clear until the potentially ruined ones were on the floor. It was his next statement that caught her off-guard, not many in the castle shared his opinion. “Well, that makes you a rarity.” There was a certain gentleness creeping into her voice, something decidedly less hostile than their first encounter.
Holding one of the pillowcases between her teeth she tossed one half of the sheet across the bed to him. “Nyx” she mumbled through the fabric in her mouth, her wings moving ever so slightly behind her, disturbed by the air moving from under the sheet.
alexandre’s eyes follow the movement of her wings for a moment. the fae, alexandre has always thought, have a quality more enchanting than that of even the sirens. it makes sense that he’s seen a handful around the castle already -- treated like pretty decorations. the half-elf takes the side of the sheets closest to him, pulling it taught across the corners of the bed. “ nice to meet you, nyx. i’m alexandre i don’t spend much time in the castle -- i imagine why we haven’t met before. ”
