my theory on why riccardo was axed for lawson with 6 races to go is that it was in part a response to williams sacking sargent for colapinto. at the time a lot of people were like well you have a lineup for last year what’s the point in putting in a rookie who probably won’t do better then sargent anyway.. but they took the gamble and wow colapinto has scored them points yippe! so i think rb is of the mindset of we’re giving lawson a seat Anyway next year so we might aswell put him in and see if he can help us w points and keep us 6th in the constructors (becs it’s looking likely enough that haas might overtake them). also like. it’s red bull guys. they LOVE doing this sort of thing!!!!
