Hello,

I'm Tristan Keyes ( I went through a whole name-journey ) and this is my little tumblr corner on the internet. My content is mainly focused on comic news, cosplay photos, human rights and memes.

I have ADHD and dyslexia, so sometimes jokes or irony goes way over my head and I start to infodump or lecture. Please forgive me if I do!

It's a condition that feels very limiting, but I'm working on myself! ❤️✌️

Right now I'm on a bit of a hiatus because of my health being really bad. So, I might not be as fast or as good at posting and replying to DMs and reblogs.

I love photo editing and art a lot and while I cosplay, I'd say I'm more of a photo artist. Crafting isn't my strongest, especially when it comes to fabrics and sewing. Most of my costumes are commissioned or modified. Please keep that in mind.

I used to work as a full time artist and trainer in association with organisations like Amnesty international. But again, my health isn't great right now.

I've had a bit of a journey with gender and identity, over the last ten years. But just to round it up again: I'm a gay man, my pronouns are exclusively He/Him/His. I live in Scotland and I practice Norse paganism and dabble in more gothic aesthetics and vibes as well.

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.

there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.
