Snape was trying to figure out where to run next. As he calculated their options, Harry remembered an old friend from his school days.
Harry: Uh... I was thinking...
Severus: About what?
Harry: I have a friend. He’s a Nomad. Instead of constantly running and jumping from one safehouse to another... what if we ask him for help?
Severus: Nomad help? Harry, you know damn well no one can be trusted in this shithole of a city.
Harry: I fucking know that! I was just trying to help, alright? Forget it...
Severus looks down at the boy, who’s staring at the floor with his head low, clearly regretting ever opening his mouth. Severus lets out a frustrated sigh.
Severus: Fine. I’ll give you this one shot. Make the call. And make it quick.
Harry: Right.
Harry places the call to Ron.
Ron: Harry? Holy shit, Harry! Good to hear from you, man! You completely dropped off the grid, what the hell happened? Are those corp hounds still breathing down your necks?
Harry: Don't even ask, Ron. Look, can you give us a hand?
Ron: Hell yeah! What d'you need, brother?
Harry: We need to get out of the city for a while... D'you have room out there in the Badlands for two more?
Ron: Man, out here in the dust, space is the one thing we ain't short on! For a buddy, we’ll make it work no matter what. Let me go warn the family first. Catch ya later!
Severus: Did you speak to your friend?
Harry: Yeah! Time to zero our tracks and delta outta here!
Severus nods, grabs their bags, and they head down the elevator to the garage. He walks up to a parked car and uses his tech skills to hotwire the lock.
Harry: Uh... Are you stealing a car?
Severus: Nobody is going to care.
Harry: Of course they fucking will! What about the owner?
Severus: Fuck 'em.
Severus tosses the bags into the backseat and slides into the driver’s seat, ready to jack into the system, while Harry jumps into the passenger side.
Harry: What about the tracker?
Severus reaches under the wheel well, yanks hard, and pulls out a small tracking device, crushing it in his grip.
Severus: Fixed. Nobody’s tracking us now.
Harry: Badass... Fuckin' badass…
Severus lets out a half-snort, the corner of his mouth twitching into a subtle smirk.

As Severus was driving, Harry turned on the radio, and "Who's Ready for Tomorrow" started playing. Harry began bobbing his head to the beat. Severus glanced over at the boy, completely unaware that his own finger was tapping against the steering wheel to the exact same rhythm.
Harry: Enjoying the track?
Severus: What? No! Obviously not... Music is for... drunks and vagrants.
Harry raised an eyebrow, instantly picking up on Snape’s terrible attempt to defend himself.
Harry: Huh? Where’s all this prejudice against drunks and vagrants coming from?
Severus: I...! I... Nothing! Shut the fuck up and tell your friend where we’re supposed to meet his family!
Harry: Why so grumpy? Geez…
Harry talked to Ron again as soon as Ron sent him the coordinates. Harry forwarded them to Severus, who gave a silent nod and drove toward the location. As they arrived, they spotted the Nomad convoy four modified motor-trailers parked out in the dust. Ron was already waiting for them.
Ron: Over here! Harry!! Over here!!
He waved his arms to signal them. Severus parked the car at a safe distance away.
Harry: Why'd you stop here?
Severus: Did you forget this car is stolen?
Harry: Are you seriously just going to leave it here?
Severus: I rigged the engine with some explosives.
Harry: What?
Severus: Yeah, you heard me. Now... run!
Harry’s eyes went wide as he bolted, taking off at a full sprint. Severus, however, walked away at a calm, unbothered pace. He let out a soft chuckle, clicked the detonator, and blew the car sky-high.
As soon as Harry got close, Ron rushed over and threw his arms around his old friend in a heavy hug.
Ron: Harry! Holy shit, you made it! Damn, I missed you, brother! Come on, my family cleared out a spot just for you and your old man.
Ron led Harry over to where almost the entire family was gathered. Looking around, Harry couldn't help but notice that every single one of them had bright red hair.
Harry: Wow... your family sure is red-headed.
Ron: Pure genetics, brother. Courtesy of Mom and Dad.
Fred: Well, well, look what the cat dragged in! You seeing what I’m seeing, George?
George: Sure am, Fred... Is that a set of Mantis Blades? Can we take a look under the hood?
Molly: Boys! Stop harassing this poor kid!
She quickly pushed her way through them, walking up to Harry with a warm smile.
Molly: How are you doing, sweetheart? Are you alright? Good lord, you’re so thin! Heavens... Come on inside, you're going to eat till you drop today. Welcome to our pack—the Weasley family!
Harry: Uh... sure, thanks... I'm just waiting on Severus.
Molly: Ah, yes! Your father, right?
Harry: He’s not my father! He’s... he’s just my guardian…
Once almost everyone had gathered around, Arthur Weasley called Severus over to take a look at his cyberware, bringing his eldest son, Bill, along to help.
Meanwhile, Harry was getting to know the rest of the family. A campfire burned brightly in the center of the camp as Charlie played a soft tune on his acoustic guitar. With the sun setting over the dusty horizon and cold beers being passed around, it felt like something Harry had never even dared to dream of experiencing.
For the very first time in his life, he let out a genuine, real smile.
Harry Potter cyberpunk AU - My design of Lily and Severus when they were studying at Arasaka school.
Their dynamic is quite different from the original.
Severus was always teased about his lifestyle and poverty at school, and he was mainly bullied by the group of boys James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus. Remus didn't like this very much and always stood in the corner watching the fights.
Lily isn't sweet and friendly; she pretends to be, but on the other hand, she's tough and gets into fights. Always trying to defend Severus.
They are always complaining about their lives, especially Severus, who has a very complicated family. They smoke in secret; Lily always carries a pack of cigarettes.

Snape has been taking care of Harry since he was a baby, after his parents were murdered by Tom Riddle, who is an associate of Arasaka, because Harry's parents stole Tom's plans to control the world.
Harry doesn't have a lightning bolt-shaped scar, but rather small scratches on his face, resulting from when his mother shot Tom and the shrapnel of cyberware that flew in his direction.
The only implant Snape allowed Harry to have done was the implantation of the Mantis Blades.
Snape had previously worked for Arasaka alongside Tom Riddle, but after what happened to Harry's parents, especially Lily, he decided to abandon them and became a fugitive.
Snape has already undergone many improvements with Arasaka's. His left arm was accidentally torn off during a mission... Replacing his left arm with a prosthetic arm with Gorilla Arms.
In Night City, as Severus and Harry try to leave their apartment, they run into a Militech squad sweeping the building; Severus shields Harry while thinking an escape plan.
Severus: We’re going up to the top floor; we can't stay here.
Harry: The top floor? But...
Severus: Don't! Just do as I say.
Harry obeys without further question, and they head upward in silence, unaware of the mess that awaits them...
