As time passed along on this dreadful island, Gin would understand the inner workings of the place. With each Eclipse meant new entries and disappearances. He always wondered at times of who may show up here in this forsaken hell. He wondered all of this with the smile plastered on his face. He had made plenty of friends from this sort of thing. Plenty of friends, plenty of enemies, and he’s had plenty of fun all in-between.
A head that was once staring at the sky would turn off in a direction as he could feel another coming his way. He may have an answer of one of the many new citizens of this hell, and it was one all too familiar. How interesting this would be to not only see her back but to see her along in this new setting. That guild, Fairy Tail, would be missing her quite a bit, but it would be quite alright. He knew she could take care of herself, and he had already made a promise not to let anything befall her. She had someone to return to, after all.
“My sense o’ time is pretty messed up ‘ere, y’know? Hard t’ say when the last time we had a proper reunion, but I must say ya went an’ found me pretty fast. I’m assumin’, anyway. T’ think ya still went an’ remember ol’ Gin…. Red-chan ~” Gin would speak out to the approaching female to basically lead her to her destination. If not her destination, then his voice would either steer her right over, or he would be confusing the hell out of a woman that didn’t remember him. Anything was possible for this city, but he doubted she was aimlessly wandering.
Seeing him. Hearing his voice again. With what she had just left behind it had all of a sudden become too much for her. Her eyes glazed with tears though her lips were curled into a smile that showed just how overjoyed she was to see him safe and alive.
She had really needed some good news.
“I’m relieved to see you again, Gin,” she replied, catching a stray tear with her thumb. in better circumstances, she probably could have teased him a little but right now, she just wanted her friend.
“I assume you’ve been keeping out of trouble.”
She already knew the answer, of course.
