It is with a heavy heart that I post this video of Alan Poole today... if ever there was one of the young kids with all the heart and talent that I wish I could have led in the right path -- Alan was the one. I took him under my wing at Faith Skate in 2007 and he worked so hard and progressed exponentially in 2 short years... he was well on his way to his dream life as a sponsored skateboarder. He stayed with me every weekend and we would film non stop collecting what seemed to be a never ending log tape of amazing footage. He had "the gift" and I lived vicariously through his talent on a skateboard. He would make a trick and I got equally as excited as if I was the one that just grinded a 20 stair handrail. I wish we could go back to 2008 and keep Alan in that moment-- I know without a doubt that he would be traveling the world skateboarding as a career. I wish we could have stayed on that path to greatness Alan. I wish that today.. I had gotten the news about your first pro model skateboard instead of the news I actually received today. I hope you find peace and I hope you find skateboarding again in your next life. REST IN PEACE ALAN ✌🏽
